Well when you sign up for the military I hope you don't think you are not going to ever be in some type of conflict. The first thing the military teaches you is how to use a gun/rifle to kill the enemy then they will teach you your designated MOS.

If you are signing up and wanting to get into Special Forces then you know damn well you will be seeing action.
