Microsoft permabans Xbox users around the world that modified their consoles to play pirated games.

Clever move on their part. I used to have a descrambler and every now and then the cable companies would jam it but there was always a counter-code for it. Perhaps there could be some similar move here whereby there is a counter-chip that would allow service to resume.

I heard something about this a while ago. They were giving people time to unmodify their Xbox or something, and then they were going to cut people off cold turkey.

There are plenty of Linux based games. Just nobody wants to play them because the graphics suck, they have poor performance and they are full of bugs. LOL

all your hate of open source has clouded your thought process.

1) not all games for linux non-commercial, so there are professionally made games for linux, i own plenty.
2) he didnt say anything about games, it seemed like the post was more to the effect of turning it into a computer.
3) exactly zero games for windows will play on an xbox
4) you cant even load windows on an xbox
5) the PS3 is linux based, so shut it.
