They're not afraid of water and taking showers. It's just that they didn't pay the water bill and their water has been shut off.

miz and kris both look like people who would also smell, so I suppose they wouldn't necessarily notice lizzie's aroma. But I'm trying to imagine the apartment that all three of them shared - I bet that place was nauseous.
