Honoring veterans means more than waving a flag two days out of the year. It means not forgetting them when they have made sacrifices we haven't had to make...

I would suggest taking a few moments to honor your veterans today by making a contribution to Fisher House or some other worthy veteran-related organization (DAV, for instance)...

i agree. i appreciate what those of the armed services have done for us and the sacrifices they have made. freedom has a cost that cannot be paid without them.

and now a gift for them...

Whatever happened to your opinion that since they volunteered..they were expendable?

volunteering has nothing to do with it. however, the chance of dying is a risk they take and im grateful that they do. yes, ultimately they are expendable because they go into warzones where they know not everyone is going to leave alive. it's bravery in the face of possibly the sacrificing their own lives.

just because you are expendable doesnt mean you have a price tag.
