NBC gets slammed by the administration all the time. At least once a week, they go with some made up story from anonymous sources about Trump and one of his cabinet members which is quickly shot down as fake.
They are trying to create a narrative to keep the dying anti-Trump movement alive. Trump will eventually get around to taking them out. He's working on Hollywood right now. But I wouldn't want to be Comcast seeking any kind of federal ruling in the next 7 years.
