They have paid the lawyers over $100,000, and have yet to colelct a dime from eesh!

1once the defendant was a gov attached thing and the lawyer took the side of the government and THREATENED ME IF I CALLED ANOTHER LAWYER I COULD BE JAILED FOR DOING SO
the other time i was thick in suits and the lady didn't want to move the ball, said i had a chance, blah blah: i didn't have time for it, she didn't know over the phone what the fee might be or if she'd take it
it seemed like i would be downgrading to go forward that way

Contingency. But the Leisers did not take the Moreno case on contingency; it was an hourly rate basis. That means Phil gets paid no matter what. Leiser is still working for the Moronos even now, in an attempt to defend the judgment from eesh's bankruptcy discharge.

I can't imagine why Phil decided to take the case and drag his family into this quagmire, knowing full well the risk to his reputation and the exposure of his philandering on Ashley Madison, his wife's Craigslist sex ads, his partner's alcoholism, and the photos of his kids.
