Meade's music is actually decent. Not great, but I may be one of the few that actually enjoy his music. His off putting persona, kind of ruins it for me. I would rather enjoy his music than "him". I like the hipsters song, especially. The music itself is not the problem.

Meade has other unique talents. I really don't care for that type of music, even if Meade could sing. However I could stare at Meade's man boobs for hours. He's one of the better singers I have heard in the Country genre. I never liked Country music before Meade.

When I was browsing the discount music aisle at my local Goodwill, I stumbled across a certain album cover that caught my eye. A lanky yet refined young lad dressed as Colonel Sanders. Naturally, being from Kentucky, I just had to pick it up. What followed was a blissful experience of joy and happiness, sadness and despair, and complete and total awe. Meade's underlying physique and bone structure is impressive, and I am not one of his family members saying so to make him feel better. Those are indeed odd and Meade may have some sort of hormone imbalance that is causing the gynecomastia. He needs to get that sorted out, fix his diet, and hit the gym. I used to think Meade was a closet gay, but now I really do think he's asexual, or has very little interest in sex of any kind. Also he doesn't seem to have the kind of anger about it that most of the closet cases do. It has more to do with his religious (Baptist?) upbringing. I have a lot of friends from further down the state, and its not a surprise, that many parts of Virginia are still the Bible Belt. Whether we acknowledge it or not. But they have the same attitude as Meade. I don't believe everyone who speaks out on homosexuality is a "closet case". That is mostly psycho- babble.

I always thought if Steve Reeves had gained about 70 lbs of flab and mostly in the chest area, he would look like Meade...

Meade has spent the last 20 years trying for a career in the entertainment field instead of getting a real job.

His list of accomplishments is pretty pitiful considering the years he has been at it.


How is being an uncredited extra in a film that tanked both with the critics and box office make one an accomplished actor?

How is getting less than 6000 youtube views in over four years on your 'hit song' make you an accomplished songwriter?

Only the people who have never tried at all to be part of the entertainment field have accomplished less. That is why you need to compare Meade to them.

Full disclosure - I am no psychologist. I certainly don't think ALL homophobes are gay; that accusation is levelled far too often. However, I am suspicious of Meade. He comes so unhinged in that one vlog that I really get the impression he might be struggling with nascent homosexuality, and the church is his one 'safe space' where he can escape from and fight those urges. The church's new tolerance toward homos may just be tearing down Meade's protective wall, and that is why he is so terrified.

Nope. That would be the same psycho babble they use against "anti gay". I think Meade is just sad that his church is becoming accepting of sinful lifestyles. He is a Christian and believes in traditional values. The church was probably very conservative for a long time. That is why it was Meade's "safe space".
