FUCK Jerry Lewis Good riddance

If you are too stupid to understand the title "FUCK Jerry Lewis" let me ask you this, if I begged you over and over for money to find a "cure" and you sent me $2.6 billion that I used to torture mice, rats, cats, dogs, monkeys and cute little bunnies and I never cured anything after decades of you sending in your hard earned monies. And yet I had a private jet and a limo paid for by your donations, wouldn't you be the least bit suspicious? Then why do you cry now that the huckster has died? He was an actor and not a very good one so he sold his soul and did these telethons.

They used these poor defenseless children to bilk a nation for $2.6 billion for a disease there is no cure for.

Throughout his entire adult life and career, Lewis was a world renowned humanitarian who supported fundraising for research into muscular dystrophy. Until 2011, he served as national chairman of and spokesman for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (formerly, the Muscular Dystrophy Associations of America).[32] Lewis began hosting telethons to benefit the company from 1952 to 1959, then every Labor Day weekend from 1966 to 2010, he hosted the annual live Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon (also referred to as Jerry Lewis Extra Special Special, Jerry Lewis Super Show and Jerry Lewis Stars Across America). Over nearly half a century, he raised over $2.6 billion in donations for the cause.[33]

On August 3, 2011, it was announced that Lewis would no longer host the MDA telethons[34] and is no longer associated with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.[35] On May 1, 2015, it was announced that in view of "the new realities of television viewing and philanthropic giving", the telethon was being discontinued.[36] In early 2016, Lewis made an online video statement for the organization on its website in honor of its rebranding, marking his first appearance in support of MDA since his final telethon in 2010 and the end of his tenure as national chairman in 2011.

Physical therapy, braces, and corrective surgery may help with some symptoms.[1] Assisted ventilation may be required in those with weakness of breathing muscles.[2] Medications used include steroids to slow muscle degeneration, anticonvulsants to control seizures and some muscle activity, and immunosuppressants to delay damage to dying muscle cells. Outcomes depend on the specific type of disorder.

I think 7-11 used to have the cardboard plaques at the register for MDA when I was a kid. It might have been the March of Dimes. Anyways, the plaques would hold quarters that people donated. My friends and I would steal the plaque and the money container and bring them to the community center to play pinball and video games! Thanks, Gerry, for helping us play!
