Without doubt this puts democrats in a much stronger position, when the next debt ceiling negotiation comes around.Odd.

Makes you wonder don't it ? Even the thickest basement dweller realizes that a level of trust is needed for political deals. Ryan and republicans wanted to use the debt ceiling as leverage to stop out some of Trump ideas like the wall and repealing Obamacare.

By going around the GOP directly to democrats Trump cut out any leverage republicans would have over democrats.

It was a cluster F by Trump and complete back stab to republicans and Ryan. Trump ego will just piss off more republican congressmen.
