My somewhat unsophisticated yet uncannily accurate weather forecast system (pick the diametric opposite of what Gerry predicts) indicates that, outside of perhaps some localized heavy rain showers, that region of the US known colloquially as the 'Bible Belt' will suffer no ill effects from any tropical weather systems.
