My partner John Gage and I will be collecting for the MDA a various businesses around the area. Please come and help us out! We tend to respond a little faster to citizens having a EMERGENCY if those citizens have helped fill the boot.

I saw them at Pickett and 236 yesterday - same place they have the Red Light Unconstitutional Camera For Profit by Private Company technology.

Seeing them beg for $$ with the boots is pathetic. Im not giving cash to put in a fucking boot for fucks sake. Shit will end up as beer and coke money for sure. If you feel compelled to donate do it directly to Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Those guys saved me when I was choking on a triple whopper with cheese. They established an airway and gave me ringers lactate with d-5-w. They had me transported to Rampart.

It appears the "fill the boot" campaign was a big success.

"The Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department’s “Fill the Boot” campaign, conducted over the Labor weekend, raised more than $631,000 – the highest total ever achieved by any fire department in the nation."
