I work a regular 9-5, in which I do on average probably about 45 minutes to an hour 1/2 of real, actual work. The rest of the time I spend browsing amazon, ESPN, Bleacherreport, CNN, Breitbart and dicking around on Wikipedia. And of course contribute to this site.

I do very little at work but I do have to write up and sometimes fire people who are not working hard enough. I was born upper middle class and white so that's just the way it is.

I work pretty hard but I do take a 2 hour lunch every day.

The 8 hour work day is obsolete. Especially considering how automation has eliminated some of the more tedious jobs. Not even people in the private sector, save for attorneys and Wall Street investors manage to log 8+ hours of real work.

I work hard at giving the impression that I do work. Not easy at all. Takes a lot of imagination to appear busy when you're doing jack. I work facilities at FFX County, the key is to "milk" a job. Make it last. If a job needs doing spend a lot of time fetching the tools, with breaks in between, walking with tools is a good camo. If you are on a job call people over to your section to talk, never go to a worker and talk, make it look like the guy is bothering you and interfering with your job, not the other way around. Play the guy for a sap. 40 hours a week, the hell with OT, and working maybe 20, if the County is lucky and I feel like it.

I work in SSA. I haven't been to the office since June. No one ever told me what my job was. I get paid.. What do I care..

I got a inspectors job in the early 2000s and was issued a county vehicle but they forgot to assign me any tasks or tell me who my boss was. I drove around for 6 years and looked for remodeling or new construction jobs just looking at them. When I put my 2 weeks notice in at HR they actually wanted me to have a interview with my boss to see if he could get me a promotion or more money. The guy who was supposed to be my boss had been retired for over 2 years lol!

I started a company and worked my ass off for 10 years to build it.

I hired my replacement, then his replacement, then his replacement, and about 10 years ago I finally hired someone competent who works his ass off every day so I don't have to. The guy is a total rock star.

Then I started another company and did the same thing. And I did it again and again and again.

My wife thinks I go to the office every day. Not!

After my morning workout, I shower, dress up in business casual and just go out to bars and restaurants and hang out with people I like, play golf, play BuzzTime trivia, and generally fuck off.

Whenever I get the itch, I can fly first class wherever, whenever, stay at luxury resorts, and write it off as a business expense or use the points off my company credit card to pay for it (tax free). All my vehicles are corporate leases. Write off. Gas and insurance are business expenses. Cell, Computers, Software licenses, Internet and Cable and phone services are business expenses. EZ Pass - business expense. It is amazing how much of your business life you can legally write off.

Anyway, I do go to 1 monthly meeting for each corporate entity to make sure the numbers are in line with forecast - but I just listen and ask questions. I don't have to really do anything but talk and make decisions or express opinions.

The money keeps rolling in. I am accountable to nobody. I don't have a boss. My wife isn't my task master every day. I got out of the mistress game because who the fuck needs more than one woman trying to control your life and every move and why run the risk of having to sell assets and give up 50% of your net worth because you wanted to nut on some gold-digging bimbo?!

I'm free baby! FREE! And it feels SO good to be free!

Throw in some edibles or the occasional hit off the old peace pipe and life is pretty fucking chill.

I am an ugly nasty old lady with cankles that spends months that turn into years trying to solve cases because I do not have the education or experience and do not know what I am doing. I waste government money and demand out of town “face to face” meetings with groups of people to try and figure out “what is going on.” I take many notes, make conference calls, and schedule meetings for years to find out “what to do.”
