Republican congress has no solutions to real problems.

They are going to skip repealing Obamacare. Health insurance is way to complicated for republicans.

Plus repealing Obamacare will piss off far too many people before elections.

Actually, republicans are going to let the obummercare fail on its own. It's currently doing a death spiral in case you haven't noticed :-)

Repealing ObamaCare is last on republicans list now. Trump has already given up too.

Trump is more concerned about funneling fed money to his sham companies as "build the wall."

Healthcare was in shambles BEFORE Obama.

Insurance companies were increasing premiums without any notice. Insurance companies were refusing to pay claims. Insurance rates were sky rocketing. People were being dropped for no reason.

People forget all the regulations that ObamaCare placed on insurance companies to keep insurance companies from ripping people off. Insurance companies were cons before ACA with agents being bait switch pro.

Americans forget how messed up the healthcare and insurance system was before ACA. Now going back to before ACA scares the hell out of every one.

If republicans repeal the ACA and people start getting dropped again and higher premiums from their policies their will be hell to pay. Republicans now that and will never repeal ACA.

Trump isn't capable of making a health care bill. Shit the entire Republican congress isn't even capable of making one. How the fuck is Trump going to repeal and replace anything?

If anything he'll allow the idiots and congress try to throw the hot potato around with a bill that cuts care so they can give it to the rich in tax cuts. That's the extent of every one's capability whom are governing as Republicans.

So lets be realistic with our questions. Trump can't even figure out a way to draft a bill or a revision of Obama Care itself yet alone repeal and replace.

Republicans are incapable of legislating, governing and solving problems. That's just a fact

Not a new fact either. Been a fact since I can remember. When they're running they say they're GOING TO CREATE JOBS!, they'll say they're going to balance the budget! they'll say they're going to fix health care!

But they don't, and people have kept them in the control of the house for 20 years. Democrats only controlled the house for 2 years after Republicans destroyed the global economy. And they were in no position to balance budget then because we were looking at becoming a failed state.

So now we have 20 trillion dollars in debt and not a single Republican seems to care again. So to ask meaningless questions about things that Republicans are not capable of is disgrace on our part. What Republicans are and are not capable of should common knowledge. The country has no more time to waste on these inept failures.

We care. At this point in Obama's presidency, he had added one trillion more to the national debt than Trump has.

Sorry, that strategy worked when Obama was there to veto everything. Now, there's no more cover for the GOP. They've been exposed as the hypocritical liars that all of us Trump voters knew they were.

Trump tried to work with them. McConnell fucked him over. Now, Trump will work with whoever he can to get as much of his agenda passed as he can. If that kills the GOP, so be it. Trump was never a political ideologue. He ran on a platform and want's to get that platform through.

Fix Obamacare. If the GOP can't get it done, then he'll work with the dems to get it done. As long as the American people are winning, only fucking complete morons (like Gerry) care if it's good or bad for one political party or the other.

Whats going to fail for sure is the insurance based system thats unsustainable. The only thing the preservers is what every other high income country is doing which is a single payer system. You can buy additional insurance if you so chose. But unless we take the middle men out and bring down costs with a single payer system, the health care system will continue to be bleed us dry demanding more for less.

Thats just a fact. You can deny, you can oppose it, you can go fuck yourself for all I care. That will remain a fact no matter what you do.

This is the quagmire that Obamacare has created. In reality, it fucked over the middle class to give shit to the poor. Now, the poor won't let it go and the middle class can't afford the sky-high premiums and deductibles with less options for providers.

Class warfare at it's finest. Thanks Obama.

Now, the GOP can't find a way out of it. It will collapse without hundreds of billions of additional $$$$ being thrown at it (a band-aid at best). Funding it will drive up the deficit by half a trillion every year. The middle class gets fucked unless they pour in another half a trillion to subsidize the middle class as well, driving the deficit up even more. If they don't, the middle class starts losing HC because they can't afford it anymore and will demand it for free from the government like the poor is getting.

Obamacare, she's a bitch and she's hungry for money.

PS, national healthcare will always benefit the younger, healthier, and the rich. The young and healthy don't need much healthcare and the rich will always pay for the best out of pocket. Once again, it will be the middle-aged, middle class in the US that will get fucked if we nationalize it.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) vowed Sunday to introduce new single-payer health care legislation — the same kind of socialized approach that failed in his home deep-blue state of Vermont.

CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Sanders, a self-described democratic-socialist, about the Republicans’ failure thus far to repeal and replace Obamacare. Tapper noted that earlier this month, Sanders said he would introduce a single-payer health care bill following the current health care debate.

Tapper asked Sanders if he will introduce single-payer, now that it appears as though Republicans will not repeal and replace Obamacare anytime in the near future. Sanders responded by saying, “absolutely, of course we are.”

“We’re just, you know, we’re tweaking the final points of the bill and we’re figuring out how we can mount a national campaign to bring people together,” Sanders said.

Tapper later went on to point out a very uncomfortable reality for the Vermont senator.

“Let’s talk about single-payer,” Tapper said, “because it was attempted in your home state of Vermont, and it didn’t work because they couldn’t get the funding, because it would be too expensive, the Democratic governor said.”

In December 2014, after more than a year of debating how to make single-payer work in the state, Vermont’s governor at the time, Peter Shumlin, a Democrat, admitted that paying for the socialized system “might hurt our economy,” according to Politico.

The single-payer framework in Vermont would have imposed a double digit payroll tax on small businesses, as well as a 9.5 percent premium assessment on individuals. Shumlin, who was not only the state’s Democratic governor, but also the chairman of the Democratic Governor’s Association, said this hike in taxes and premiums would be “detrimental to Vermonters.”

“These are simply not tax rates that I can responsibly support or urge the Legislature to pass. In my judgment, the potential economic disruption and risks would be too great to small businesses, working families and the state’s economy,” Shumlin said in December 2014, Politico reported.

“And, then recently,” Tapper continued Sunday, “it failed in California as well. Democrats again, not able to come up with a way to pay for it.”

Tapper was referring to the fact that the California state Senate earlier this year passed single-payer legislation. The bill then went to the State Assembly, but the Democratic speaker of the Assembly, Rep. Anthony Rendon, lambasted the Senate’s attempt as “woefully incomplete.”

“Even senators who voted for [the bill] noted there are potentially fatal flaws in the bill, including the fact that it does not address many serious issues, such as financing, delivery of care, cost controls or the realities of needed action by the Trump administration and voters to make [the bill] a genuine piece of legislation,” he said.

“In light of this,” Rendon said, “I have decided [the bill] will remain in the Assembly Rules Committee until further notice.”

“These are cobalt blue states, Vermont and California,” Tapper pointed out to Sanders, “where people wanted single-payer, and there were problems because it would cost too much.”

“How do you make it national if you can’t even get it in Vermont and California?” the CNN host asked.

Sanders appeared — and sounded — extremely uncomfortable after Tapper asked the question.
