Good evening! I'm Savannah washington and am enrolled in your 715pm biology lab class and I had every intention of being at the first day of class tonight but I have been home all day sick and am not skipping so I thought I'd let you know. I'm sorry I couldn't attend the first day I know how important it is but I will be there next Tuesday for sure. Not attending class is not something i do often and will make sure it doesn't happen unless absolutely necessary as I truly want and need to take your class.

If you could be so kind as to let me know what I need to know to be prepared and caught up for class next Tuesday I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

labs are mandatory - you will have to make it up with another teacher and another lab class/partner. I always preferred my own lab group, much easier with people you know.
