I actually agree with Iran. It's not in the best interest of the US to occupy anywhere. If we go to war, fight to annihilate, then gtfo and come home. Leave rubble and a giant ash heap in our wake, but not soldiers or money.

We need to secure the homeland. Build the wall. Shut down the border. Round up the MS13ers. Restore law and order here. Millennial scum like to deride the 1950s, but that's the way the USA was back then. People got married, raised a couple-a-three kids, worked at a decent job for decent pay. In the process, the US became an economic and military superpower the likes of which the world has never seen.

The boomers and now the millennials are trying their best to flush it all down the toilet. GenXers are the only thing that's kept this country afloat these past 20 years.

I voted for Trump because his message was:

Restore the middle class
Restore the rule of law
Shut down the illegals
Restore the military
Stop being the world's policeman

First presidential candidate in a long time that ran on those things that didn't have a track record of doing the exact opposite.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt until he proves me wrong. So far, the GOP establishment has done exactly as I figured they would - align with the establishment democrats and fight the threat to the body politic.
