You could call this one artisanal too. The wines are all estate grown. Harvesting is by hand, and, as nearly everywhere in Virginia, green harvests and lots of canopy control are vital. The crowded, no-frills production area shouts “purpose-driven.” Production today is a little over 40,000 cases and is set to grow as planting becomes denser, grape sales stop, and up to 30 more acres are added to vine.

First you and the stupid article in the OP claimed that he'd said "the biggest in the US." He did not. He said "one of."

Second, he did not "see" the biggest in VA either so that's just more of your own irrelevant babbling. It would not necessarily need to be THE biggest in VA to still be one of the biggest in the US. According to PolitiFact it is the largest in VA in terms of acreage (the intentionally misleading article bases its measure on case production which distorts things since Trump's vineyard very likely sells grapes to some of the other larger production winery's which do more cases):

Yes, there are some very large vineyards in CA and elsewhere. That's neither here nor there unless you want to try to fall back to the stupid "largest" misrepresentation. And like the rest of the country, very large vineyards are few in number and most still are small even in CA and WA. So in terms of acreage his still very likely would be one of the largest in the US. It's the largest by acreage in VA and, apparently according to Politifact, the second largest on the East Coast (a NY vineyard being the largest). It is not "TINY" other than in comparison to some of the massive CA vineyards which are among the largest in the world.
