I used to like listening to "Car Talk" on Saturday mornings. I think it was 88.5fm or something like that. I haven't listened to it in years, I don't even know if it's still on.

I believe that the Mike O'Meara show was destined to fail. It is ridiculous to think that he could continue the format and use the other on-air personalities just like the Don and Mike show. Don was the focal point of the show and Mike was the sidekick. Don came up with the ideas. He was the producer, the point man, and the funny man. Mike just used to chime in and support his ideas. After being on the air for 20 years, the Don and Mike listeners couldn't give the show a clean slate.

Mike was too stupid to realize that he needed a total revamp of the show to be successful. He could not put the Don and Mike show behind him and neither could the listeners. He needed all new sidekicks and connect to the 20 and 30 year old demographics. Therefore, the show dragged. His personal appearances revealed him as an unappreciative asshole. In addition, Mike was never well liked in this area anyway. I know him personally and know first-hand what a big dick he is. I am so happy he is gone from our airwaves and hope he falls hard.

I get tired of hours of Redskins talk some days, but its a HUGE improvement over listening to that douchebag Rob(b). Ugh, that whinneying laugh at every insipid attempt at humor - it was the nightmare child of Ed McMahon and Robin Quivers!
