Senate rejects measure to repeal much of the Affordable Care Act

3000 DAYS for the GOP to come up with an alternative and the GOP just cannot get it done.


The Senate rejected a proposal Wednesday that would have repealed major parts of the Affordable Care Act and provided a two-year delay for lawmakers to develop a substitute, indicating that in the immediate future Republicans can only muster a majority for modest changes to the current law.

In two separate votes over the course of less than 24 hours, lawmakers have rejected different approaches to rewriting the landmark 2010 law known as Obamacare. But many Republicans have expressed an openness to passing a minimalist measure that abolishes two of the ACA’s insurance mandates and a single tax on medical devices, which is being dubbed “skinny repeal.”

GOP leaders have emphasized it is a way for the Senate to start negotiations with the House, and perhaps the one way they can sustain their seven-year drive to dismantle the health care law.

Trump is terrible so far. no wall, travel ban was way late and watered down, bent over for China and N. Korea and Putin in Syria. No Steel tariff, no Mexico tax to pay for wall; no 'health care for everyone at a tiny fraction of the cost;'

Everything was supposed to be so easy and all he has done is fire and insult the people HE appointed or allowed to stay on. Also his family are a bunch of retards fucking up everything he hasnt yet fucked up

the Affordable Care Act was used to:

(1) give Congress free medial care "fringe benefit"

(2) give Counties free medical care

(3) buy practices for illegals practicing medicine in USA while penalizing denizens who'd practiced medicine to (own their own practices)

(4) in Democrat areas, use facilities bought for illegals to give care only to illegals - telling (republicans) they did not "qualify"

in general, in Democrat areas, ACA was used to funnel money out of taxes to fund mass migration of illegals into the area that were known to always vote democrats, to keep them in un-touchable power of money and law
