US military reportedly paying $130,000 a month to lease space in Trump Tower

The U.S. government is paying more than $130,000 a month to rent a space in Trump Tower for a military office that supports the White House, the Wall Street Journal reported

Such an office is used by the U.S. military to provide services that need to be close to the president at all times

But President Donald Trump hasn't spent a night at Trump Tower since taking office

I work at the Congressional Budget Office(CBO) and it is true that there is a military office in Trump Towers. What the Wall Street Journal has not reported is that there is another military office near Mar-A-Lago Estate. Wherever the U.S. President has a residence that they may or may not visit on a frequent basis there will be a military office nearby. George W. Bush had a military office on his ranch in Texas. Military advisors are required to be near the President at all times.

I'm a GS-14/9 getting 140K. I'm serious when I say this...."I don't do shit at my job." I know people already know the gov't workers don't do shit but I'm just backing up what they believe by telling you all what I make and don't do. In a way it sucks because it's boring at work and makes the day go by slow but fuck it! Also, I have 33 years in the gov't. Not planning on leaving anytime soon.

Were they paying the Bush family rent every month for the space?

It seems like a conflict of interest if I'm directing subordinates to spend American tax dollars at a business I own.
