What to do on a super hot afternoon? We decided to chill out in a nice theater to see the new Planet of the Apes movie "War for the Planet of the Apes". I'm not sure if I was just tired or the nice cool air and the comfy seats got me, but this movie was a snoozer. Not interesting at all. And way too many stretches of monkeys just grunting and scratching. The story line was garbage.

Can we please put an end to Planet of the Apes sequels? The first 2 or 3 were new and different but it's just fucking boring now. If I had paid to see this shit, I would have demanded a refund.

I will say this, there is something really weird about a monkey riding a horse.

Agree. I went the opening night. Bad bad movie. I can only hope the Planet of the Apes craze is now dead. Unlike you OP, I had to pay $15 to see that crap sandwich.

Why would you pay money to see apes at the movies, when you can just go to the nearest hood , and see the apes for free?

This is the NINTH total Planet of the Apes movie. Not to mention a TV series and an animated series...all of which are derived from a novel.

Now you may not LIKE any of these other offerings within the franchise...but that is a separate conversation.

There was that one sequel with the female ape that came back in time and preached about women's rights. Dumb.


Then there was the aborted reboot with Mark Wahlberg that was terrible.


These new ones are horrible.

The sequels will never end because you dumbasses keep paying to see it over and over.

Here's some news for ya.. IT IS NOT RACIST to fail to see the new Planet of the Apes movie.

We are up to #9. The latest (War for the Planet of the Apes) is the ninth movie, and there have been two television series. So, nine monkey movies and still going strong.

It will probably finally get nominated for an Academy award. Since niggers now get nominated why not apes? White people costumed as Apes act better. You don't have to costume a real nigger as an Ape but they don't act right.

It won't be over until there are Planet of the Apes video games, action figures, Lego sets, etc.

Now Gerry covfefe could star in the movie because they use brylcreem in their hair which makes them looks slick back gorillas.
