California Democrats pass an Illegal Immigrant Sanctuary State Bill

The California State Assembly Judiciary Committee approved Democrats’ so-called “sanctuary state” bill on Wednesday, over the objections of law enforcement groups and Democrat-leaning sheriffs’ unions.

------------------------

there are huge areas of S. CA. and S. TX that are completely populated by illegals - and in many cases the area politicians actually use USA tax return money (having added nothing to usa econ) ON MEXICAN POWER just to further rip off

it's become a massive looting operating on democrats steering USA federal tax return money to illegals to insure political wins

Trump cannot sit back and watch this. He has to do something.

He says he want's a wall, and illegals within electing themselves are writing their own sanctuary laws. Democrats will never say no - because they know illegals are their only hope to maintain their paychecks after what they've done.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW

fx co acts as a sanctuary city, but illegally - never informed voters what they were doing, also against state law (until they arrested the republican governor on false charges and replace him with a thief from New Jersey)

Maryland did the same (i'm unsure if their voters "asked for it")

NEVER HAS A STATE put "sanctuary city into law", and doing so with a Republican President in office ... is .... saying they are very sure of themselves

Let them it's California. California is a case study state. Every evil experiment is conducted there and the results are reported to the rest of the nation. It is quite ok we need such data.

The people voted for it and it is not about what we like or dislike it is their State their choice.

They need to see a way to grant State Citizenship to each and every immigrant both legal and Illegal.

If they truly do not want ICE in their state they must build a wall with checkpoints and vetting. With signs. NO FED LEOS ALLOWED.

I do not see them as stupid I see them as innovative. They have researched the economic impact of a Fed hold back and claw back of funds and resources. And to the People of California, the venture outweighs the risk.

If certain citizens of California does not like the Ways and Means of the State Then other states are there for them to move to.Fairfax has plenty of room.

Only problem is that the rest of the country would need a wall around the sanctuary states/cities. We have reciprocity agreements that assume each state complies with certain standards.

Well, then we have walls for every state/county/city/town. They can be symbolic. Saves on costs.

This is not going to work well for them.I get the state sticking it to the man.But this is not good for the safety of California residents. The Police and Sheriff associations spoke out against this.In the future, we will see a federal reply.

In the first 50 yrs of Rome (University Law) (or at least earlier in Greek law)

Voting in laws that fit one's own interests (personal bias), could bear a DEATH PENALTY. But we're more "cultured" now.

Still, obviously, it's TOTALLY ILLEGAL FOR HISPANICS to pass a law favoring Hispanics to enter the USA while dis-reguarding all other law and against all past traditions.

Nice message to the Border Patrol. A fat Middle Finger to the Feds and to Real Americans.
Let's see the mess this creates.

Activism.

California is a state of men and not laws ... (they cater to certain people and put them above the law)

Look what else these fuckers did:

"On the eve of Trump's visit, state lawmaker proposes cutting tax breaks for companies that help build border wall"

Assemblyman Phil Ting (D-San Francisco) (Rich Pedroncelli/Associated Press)

On the eve of President Trump’s first visit to California since he took office, a state lawmaker says he wants to deny state tax breaks to companies that contract or subcontract to build the proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Assemblyman Phil Ting (D-San Francisco), who wields substantial influence in the creation of state tax policy as Assembly budget committee chairman, has been among the vocal opponents to the border wall, calling it counterproductive to the state’s economic growth and “a symbol of weakness and hate to the world.”

He plans to present his proposal to an Assembly committee on Monday, and the bill is expected in print next week. It would prevent companies that profit from the wall’s construction from receiving some tax credits, such as those given for hiring new employees, buying or using certain manufacturing and research equipment or for promoting alternative energy and advanced transportation.

Trump is expected in San Diego on Tuesday to inspect prototypes for the wall. Ting’s proposal has been one of several attempts to slow or stop its construction in a state that has billed itself as home to a resistance movement against Trump’s hard-line immigration policies.

California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra in September filed a lawsuit alleging that Trump’s proposal to expedite construction of the wall violates laws protecting the environment, though legal experts have said such challenges face a slim chance of success. Another pending bill by state Sen. Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens) would ban state government contracts for any company that helps build the wall.

Ting, Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) and Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher (D-San Diego) introduced separate legislation last year that would require California’s pension funds to divest from any company involved in the creation of the barrier. It died in committee.

Ting said lawmakers need to address the concerns of Californians: A September 2017 poll from the Public Policy Institute of California found 73% of all adults in the state oppose a wall along the border with Mexico.

“California builds bridges not walls,” Ting said. “At a time when we need critical infrastructure, spending $20 billion on a wall that won’t work is a waste of taxpayer money.”
