Spicer Explanation Why White House Press Conferences Can't be Recorded Anymore- It's Youtube

"As you all know, the WHCA board represents a diverse set of interests inside the press corps, including journalists who need video and sound to tell Americans what the government is doing in their name," Mason said. "So it is also with that in mind that we have urged the White House not to replace on-camera briefings with 'gaggles,' not-for-broadcast question & answer sessions."

Most of the briefings since Trump took office have been held each weekday and on-camera, but recently the White House has instructed reporters not to air the briefings live or record them on video.

TV reporters say this puts their outlets at a disadvantage, but Spicer has complained that some reporters who attend the briefing use the events to grandstand and "become YouTube stars."

The only news coming out of the White House should be state-sponsored. Like in Russia.

they were becoming a city of lying news - more and more cameras, more pushes to remodel the news room make it bigger (IN THE WHITEHOUSE, not their house), even lawsuits condeming the whitehouse for hurting someone's career "unfairly"

and the entourage and grips bringing in "unknown boxes" and found in parts of the whitehouse they didn't belong in (requiring more and more security)

Questions surround Infowars' claim of White House press credentials

Infowars claimed on Monday that it had been approved for White House press credentials, but it appears the conspiracy-driven website, founded by Alex Jones, received only a temporary, one-day pass.

"In an epic blow to the mainstream media’s control of the narrative, Infowars has officially received White House Press Credentials that will allow Washington Bureau Chief Jerome Corsi to attend White House press briefings," the site proclaimed in a post.

Corsi also tweeted a photo on Monday from the White House press briefing room.

But other reporters said Corsi's press pass was a temporary one, which is relatively easy to get.

Re: Jerome Corsi and Info Wars: I saw his pass. It's a temporary day pass almost anyone who publishes can get. (They even gave it to me.)

CONTEXT: @infowars was given a day pass White House credential, not a permanent press pass. High school students can apply for day passes.

I knew the reason they stopped news agency from recording any White House Press conferences was because people were trying to be Youtube stars! Didn't fool me!

All official White House Press statements will now come from SnapChat, WhatApp and Twitter. Trump will be tweeting these himself at 3am in morning from Mar Largo.

You didn't really believe all that crap that Trump said during the election. Those were election promises. Nobody ever keeps those.

Only an idiot would of thought Trump really meant Mexico was going to pay for the wall.
