What was this, which city had the worse violence would win the Olympics? I guess downing a helicopter trumps Chicago.

I guess they figure that the athletes and officials will probably be driving around in cars and 9 passenger vans, and not flying around in helicopters.
In chicago, if you make an improper turn in the wrong neighborhood, the locals will pull you out of the car and beat you to death.
RIO is much safer, unless you plan on flying around in a helicopter with armed police who are planning on shutting down a heavily armed gang in a favela.

Yeah, I guess shooting at helicopters is something we should be looking forward to here in the US.
