Internet connection performance

I tested out my connection speed and got this.

Is this good, bad, average, etc.

Download Speed: 31690 kbps (3961.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 2705 kbps (338.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

I have a lower tier of Verizon FiOS, and I got:

Download Speed: 12985 kbps (1623.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 4346 kbps (543.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

And that's on my slower computer.

The 2nd Time I got this (On same Comp.):

Download Speed: 14165 kbps (1770.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 4580 kbps (572.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

I think the fastest I've ever gotten was near 20mbps Download, and 5mbps Upload, and that is considered pretty quick overall.

Go to broadbandreports.com and download DrTCP, and tweak your TCP/IP settings.
