The current news agencies are owned by people with weird agendas. They like to have their own political views and personal opinions regurgitated onto the public. Anymore, anything you hear in the news is skewed to make you think one way or the other. None of the news agencies are reporting real facts. This is the reason that so many Americans don't trust the news. Plus, there are alternative ways to gather the real news, as it happens, unfiltered, unedited with a certain skewed viewpoint. They will need to push hard towards progress including an unrelenting stand for single payer health care, funding and forgiving all college loans, moving towards free higher education and assistance in vocational training. Balancing the budget and doing whats necessary to do that including cuts and raising the effective corporate tax rate.

Taxes are like interest rates. You can't cut them and reap the economic rewards if you can't lower them. And you can't lower them if you don't raise them. You need to have active dynamic tax policy just like you do with interest rates.

Yes, many people did. I held kept buying blue chip mutual funds @ a hundred bucks a week. When the dow came back to 15,000 I took most of my profits. Looking back I should have held it longer but I still made 115 thousand after taxes and fees.
