My name is John Wednesday.
Posted by: MrMephisto ()

Several people seem to have an acute interest in my real life away from the internet. Most people probably don't care.

I am a musician named John Wednesday. If you'd like to listen to what I've recorded so far, you can go to http://www.johnwednesday.com. The site is still under construction, so don't bother wasting your time on criticizing my web design talent (or lack thereof).

I registered the user name John Wednesday, so any other variations of that name are imposters. I'm not going to pretend that what I'm doing is re-defining music or is the best thing you'll ever hear, but I have a good time doing it, and other people seem to enjoy it, as well.

Happy listening!

That was pretty good. You should pair up with Meade Skelton. Be the next Bernie-Taupin !

Believe it or not, I was actually thinking about talking to Meade about doing a show together. Free admission for FFXU members as long as they wear a name tag with their user name on it.

I bet Meade and I could come up with an awesome version of "Amazing Grace."

Aren't you the one who did that really ridiculous version of "Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake"?

That was awesome.

All the FFU musicians should form an All Star band and do a gig at Trummers on Main.

Alas, I cannot take credit for something awesome I didn't do (unless I'm sure nobody will find out the truth).

That would turn out really good or really, really bad. My Chertoff-like gut says "bad."

Just sayin....

Obviously without. Otherwise, I wouldn't need the name tag.

I'd come as "Reggie", but the OPDS (Over-Post Death Squad) would surely be on the look-out for me. Eeeks.

Hmmm...so maybe "oaktondad".

I have lots of instruments! I don't actually really play any of them, but they make great decorations. And if I ever remember to pickup some solder, maybe REStonPeace will help me fix my bass guitar. Not that I know how to play it, but these details can be worked out later.

Will Monday found Jesus, and decided it violated the First Commandment to have the days of the week named after the pagan Norse gods. His name is now Will Solomonday.

Timothy Tuesday died from using bad heroin he got from Westfields High School. He's being buried next Thursday by Joe Friday.

Riiight lol

I know, I must be Gravis' father. Too funny. You all are pretty obsessive on the descriptive stereotypes. Must make you feel good to be young and virile huh? LOL.

I have to laugh though with these folks that have to know what everyone else looks like, or speculate incessantly about it. Can't leave High School behind huh?

Gen,
I too, have lots of instruments. Several guitars, fretless bass, drums, etc.... and I don't play as often as I should. I recorded a CD last year and got kinda burnt out and haven't touched anything for a while.
I'll probably get going again now that summer is over and I'm stuck inside.

It's been ages since I recorded anything. I used to play quite a few different instruments, but the Drums are what I'm best at, and enjoy most.

My friends used to have some studio equipment, and we recorded all types of music. Now one of them makes beats, the other is a well connected DMV Area DJ.

my buggy used to have a pretty cool pet alligator named "mi amor", it was awesome, it used to wear knee pants, but one day it snapped the living shit out of him so he had to get rid of it. he took it out to eastern shore and let it loose in a chicken pen.

he got the hell out of there after that whole ordeal!

I think the website is just fine. Just throw up some pictures and some vidz's and you're set.

Your descriptions of the flash animation you desire are almost better than if the animations were a reality.

I also liked your poking fun of the website template... Prrreeetttyy funny.

Do you give your MP3s away because you figure, if people wanted them, they could get them anyway?

Pretty much. Any musician doing it for the money at this level really needs to re-examine their priorities.

Why wouldn't he give the mp3's away? only established artists can sell stuff on spec like that...
