He had a nice run at WMAL. Nothing lasts forever. I don't know why people get so worked up every time someone in the media (TV, Radio, whatever) gets canned. It happens. Move along. He'll be fine and WMAL will be fine. I'm sure it was cost cutting. Every time WMAL gets a "tenured" popular host for more than 5 years they gotta get rid of them. They are notoriously cheap.

The company that owns the station (and other stations) is in some financial trouble.

I think since Chris Plante went into the syndication he's making them money and might be safe, but I could be wrong.

Brian could be looking at getting back into television with Sinclair's purchase of more tv stations nationally.
