I was thinking that these food banks are giving out all this food so I am wasting my own money by buying food. I don't need anything fancy, just basic stuff like cereal, rice, milk, flour and some canned goods.
Is there any way they will know that I'm not poor? Hey, I'm not rich but I do have a decent job and a few hundred thousand in savings.

They won't ask any questions and won't know. They rely on the humane assumption that most people aren't morons.

This is a good idea! Get free food and take the money you would have used to buy that food and put it in the bank. Most of the low rent fucks who get the food bank handouts are just too lazy to work so fuck them. I've got to find out where the food banks are too.

You get away with that only if you're black. If a white guy pulls up in any decent car, or even an OK looking 8 YO Toyota, they assume he can pay his grocery bill.

I should try this, though. I have a beat up 10 YO Crown Vic hoopty car I use for a daily driver, so it's nice & dirty and has junk scattered around the inside, too. I could put on a pair of jeans I wear to do yard work that are dirty and have holes and the matching t shirt. I even have a pair of falling apart old shoes I use to do yard work in. I can forget to take a bath until after I get back. SO I just dress up like that, leave the Caddy (either the new one or the 1964 rag top) at home and drive the hoopty car and get free food.

Military service is just a form of welfare.

If you cannot afford food by all means use it.
If you can, don't take advantage because then you are part of the problem, and are taking food away from those who may really need it.

Is your self-respect only worth a bit of free food to you?
