Militant Islamic Group ISIS Trained at U.S. Base in Jordan
By Christopher R Rice

Jordanian officials recently revealed that members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (also known as ISIS) were trained in 2012 by U.S. military instructors at a secret base in Jordan.

ISIS’ ultimate goal is to create an Islamic caliphate state in Iraq and Syria based on Sharia law.

Underground Newz reported that in February 2012 the U.S., Turkey and Jordan ran a training base for Syrian rebels in the northern Jordan town of Safawi. This report has been corroborated by Reuters and the German weekly Der Spiegel.

Of course, this raises the obvious question: Why did the American military train dangerous Islamic militants?

Answer: Because they were being trained with the intent of overthrowing the Syrian government and President Bashar al-Assad.

Jordanian officials claimed these Syrian rebels were screened to ensure they had no ties to Al-Qaeda or any other overly radical Islamic group. They also said that this training had no intention of being used in Iraq.

The Jordanian officials are now concerned this sectarian violence will spill over into their country.

A source privy to the investigations said:

Yousaf al Salafi revealed that he was getting funding – routed through America – to run the organization in Pakistan and recruit young people to fight in Syria

One source said that al Salafi confessed that he and another ally — said to be an imam — was getting paid by the US to recruit youths to join ISIS for $600 a recruit.

The same source said:

The US has been condemning the IS activities but unfortunately has not been able to stop funding of these organizations, which is being routed through the US… The US had to dispel the impression that it is financing the group for its own interests and that is why it launched offensive against the organization in Iraq but not in Syria

Obama Ordered the CIA To Assist With Violent Coup In Syria

Former President Obama signed an Executive Order on Syria in early 2012 [just as he had done for Libya in early 2011], that legally covered the CIA and other U.S. agencies that otherwise would have been in violation of aiding and abetting the enemy in time of war and providing material support to terrorism.

Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey all pledged financial and material assistance to fighters, all of whom are non-Syrian fighters, many of whom are fighting as members of al-Qaida, Salafi and radical Jihadi (ISIS) organizations. Jabhat al-Nusra is al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate.

Former President Obama had stopped short of calling for a Libya-style NATO intervention, although several senators and prominent officials have openly supported such a move. Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called for the U.S. to use air strikes against Syrian forces in March. The trio publicly said that this was the “only realistic way to stop the slaughter and save innocent lives.”

In 2012, the gun-running into Libya turned around and began to flow outward, from Benghazi to the AQ-and-MB-dominated rebels in Syria. This time, it was the CIA Base of Operations that was in charge of collecting up and shipping out [surface-to-air missiles] SAMs from Libya on Libyan ships to Turkey for overland delivery to a variety of jihadist militias, whose members coalesced into groups like Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS [also known as IS].

The ongoing fight for Syria has been complicated by reports indicating that dozens of foreign fighters continue to enter the country each day. Many of the foreign fighters are from Chechnya, Pakistan and Arab Gulf countries. The majority subscribe to conservative Jihadist and Salafi ideologies but like any soldier of fortune it's not about religion, it's about the money dummy. Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey pay ISIS fighters and their families $600 a day.

As early as November 2011, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for Assad, “the coward,” to step aside saying before Parliament in Ankara, “Quit power before more blood is shed … for the peace of your people, your region and your country.”

Since that time Turkey has allowed the Free Syrian Army to establish a base in Southern Turkey. From this base, fighters have organized supply routes and attacks against Syrian army installations.
