All visitors to FFXU should not assume that their privacy is being protected. Quite to the contrary there are a number of “regulars” who feel it is their duty to police those who visit this site against persons they believe are undesireable. Below are instructions to protect yourself. If you choose not to follow them…do not assume your privacy is guaranteed.

You will learn how to avoid getting tracked by gravis. You wont have to wait for his slow servers to load every time you view a thread.

Go to start > run > %systemdrive%/windows/system32/drivers/etc > run the hosts file using notepad and paste the following

127.0.0.1 adaptivetime.com

127.0.0.1 www.adaptivetime.com

127.0.0.1

And now your ip is hidden from gravis no matter what browser your using.

I'm assuming you are Vince based on the following clue:
http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/read/40/250079/250138.html#msg-250138

Regardless of who you are, you may be misrepresenting the situation for the AOL users on the forum.

The daily dose of "knowledge" that you are dropping is misleading. By reading your post, one is lead to believe that, by blocking only adaptivetime.com, Gravis will never be able to find your IP address..

It also makes the assumption that Gravis is the only person with these capabilities and that he is the only person to worry about.

These daily threads may be giving a false sense of security to people like Vince(1) who, after blocking adaptivetime.com, no longer worry about their internet security.

The Ultraprivacy Thread is a more accurate representation of the situation here at this forum.

It must also be noted that by making the same thread, sometimes more than once a day, you are adding unnecessary clutter to the forum. This clutter makes the forum harder to navigate for the users that you claim to care so much about.

I'm not telling you to stop posting but, if you truly care about the users of the site, pick one of your privacy threads and bump it daily. There is no reason to create different threads with identical information.
