Just threw his first TD pass VS the Green Bay Packers...

I bet there are a lot of Brett Farve 'Haters' here on FFXU. Lets see!

Favre rules. The Pacs are toast tonight, look for the Vikings deep into the playoffs. Favre is playing like he is 30, all respect paid.

The "Hamlet of Hattiesburg" bullshit aside, Favre is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, QBs of all time. No issues here (except that you don't know how to spell Favre).

I'm a Redskin fan for life, but I have always liked the Packers, and one of the main reasons happened to be Favre. It's amazing watching him play for the Vikings, as they have some serious talent this year (Including him), and ever since his return to the Midwest he really seems to be dominating the scene again.

I dunno - Minnesota seems to be rolling tonight. Favre looks sharp tonight.

Was anyone else surprised by that call back of the Packers interception in the End Zone? It looked legit to me.

The off sides would have negated it anyway.

Outside of Green Bay, Minnesota was probably the best fit for Favre. He has a coach he knows playing an offense he understands with a strong defense and running game. On top of it, Minnesota and Wisconsin don't have a lot of heart-felt rivalries, so the Minnesota fans have embraced Favre with open arms. Finally, the Jets have been a fuck-fest for years and it is apparent that Eric Mangini doesn't know shit, so nobody could have succeeded there last year before Ryan cleaned house.

agreed with WTL. Minnesota was also a good fit bcuz of the Dome. I think he plays maybe one cold game all season and that is Chicago in December.
And who knows if the Vikes have the best record he wont have to play any cold games in the playoffs, then the super bowl will be in a warm city. all seems well for mr. Favre.

After the last past few weeks, which have been dominated by lack luster play (Especially for my Redskins), it is a true JOY to have watched this game folks. These are both Championship teams right here.

The NFC North is turning into a real slugfest this year (okay, maybe not Detroit). The NFC playoffs may be on par with the AFC, for a change.

I honestly can't wait. It's only going to get more interesting.

yaaaa. i love the NFL and like Wale said i am not going to let the REDSKINS ruin the NFL season for me (after the lions loss) but the skins r still in it :). NFC north is great, NFC east is always stacked, to bad for the weak NFC west.

so any super bowl predictions this early?

colts vs vikings looks sexy!

I'm still sticking with my Ravens/Eagles prediction from the start of the season. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Saints in there against the Pats or Colts. As for the Vikings, it seems like they are a team of destiny after last night's performance, but Favre has faded in the second half of the season before, so it is too early to tell with them, IMO.

Only qb with wins against every fucking team in the NFL. He should be in the Hall of Fame now, fuck waiting for retirement.

So what? That just means he's played for a LONG time for multiple teams that had some talent. I do agree that he should be in the HOF. He has to retire first though.

He will certainly get the Hall of Fame award for Most Retirements

If he plays this season and next season, he has the chance of throwing 500 TDS and for over 70,000 yards. That, and he could possibly end up being the only QB to win two Super Bowls with two different teams if the Vikings keep playing like this. He will be the Babe Ruth of football when he is done.

man i had a real long, intelligent rebuttal to what -SBS- said, but my computer had to restart. what a shame..

the jist was, the average NFL player plays approx. 3 years total, Favre well exceeded that, AND started EVERy single damn game. He has not missed a single one.

that is quite a feat. Also while beating every team as a qb is not like OMG THAT IS SO AMAZING type of thing it is still kind of cool. Again, he is the only qb to ever do that. man is just a living high light film. Plus hes like an everyday american, has had struggles, pain, been at the top, and been at the bottom(kind of), and he is a champion who succeeds in life. kudos to farve. if this dude throws for 500 and 70,000 no one will ever touch that.
