Because when the Lamb Center moved, the drug cartel was shut down.

They've started a whole new cottage industry of stealing spare tires from the vehicles at Farrish Motors.

Boosterthon. Basically 1 or 2 anti-Christian bigots were upset that a few of the founders of Boosterthon went to church on Sundays. Because they attended Christian worship services they felt it was possible they were infecting public school students with religious propaganda.

They got a small bit of momentum from the usual anti-school crusaders that had an axe or two to grind (waaahhh my child is being forced to beg for money; waaaahhh my student should be chained to their desk all day studying math and science – no breaks allowed; waaaahhhh Boosterthon may violate rule 2456, title 34, subsection L, subparagraph 5b, line 6 with regard to how PTSAs interact with the school).

Fortunately, FCPS realized that the overwhelming majority of parents, teachers and kids enjoy Boosterthon Fun Runs (fun fun fun) and it is a great way to raise a lot of easy money which helps out the local schools.

So the anti-Boosterthon guy got tired of banging his head against a brick wall.
