Why are people over the age of 40 so close minded and set in their ways? It seems like they are so adamant about the things that have either polarized the general populace, virtually destroy the environment, and blindly guiding the younger generations to only make the same mistakes. Does anyone have an explaination for this destructive form of ignorance?

Are not young people throwing bricks through windows destroying the environment? You seldom if ever see older people destroying other people's property because they disagree with the ideas of the other. Why? Because when they were growing up, they were taught to live by physical and higher level laws, one of which is to put their time and energy into building a future for themselves and to leave others' property alone, it is not theirs to trash.
Apparently the current younger generation is not being taught that there are higher laws that run this universe, and some of the earthly laws are reflections of the higher ones. Simply put, you create your own future problems by the choices you make to create problems for others.

As in environment i mean the earth and not individuals personal property. That belief in itself proves my point, anything that can be considered personal propery other than that of land; has been put in the place of the pre existing environment. Ans sure earthly physical laws sometimes apply to moral beliefs but many are seemingly unnecessary and are only in place to compliment those who purvey it. Higher laws are all in how they are perceived, in fact the universe has its own ways of governing its laws. So why would we force any man made doctrine or beliefs upon any person? when the universe has its own doctrine? Not that i disagree with the moral side of legislation, But many laws set in place are totally unnecessary and are based off of ignorant beliefs brought from the past; Most of which are still supported today. The problems we see today are the direct product of those past beliefs, for example the recent presedential elect, environmental catastrophes relating to nuclear and oil sourced energy both being used from the past and still today and have yet to cease. so tell me who made the choices creating todays problems?
