Should the president call in the national guard to quell the violence in Chicago?

The president has tried to to handle violent dems with velvet gloves, but they aren't meeting him half way. I say it's time to take off the gloves and call in the guard to restore order and cap violent dope fiends and liberals. Maybe Sweden can take a que and do the same thing. Do you agree?

Trump should just declare that shithole a war zone along with Detroit

I realize the restrictions of the Constitution and the U.S. Code are no longer supposed to apply now that Trump is president, but the president of the U.S. does not have the authority to call out the National Guard for purposes of assisting in local law enforcement. The Governor of Illinois might have that authority, depending on state law.
