Thought about doing that, but after reading this, not sure. Could make you the richest man in the region if the economy collapses, but if not, you just look like a fool.

Where did you get your bullion from? I've seen a couple websites that sell but I am not sure which to choose from. One site also sold bars of copper claiming it was a wise investment as well, and I just couldn't take it seriously.

Gold stocks are by far the best investment when the shit is flying. The only time when the metal becomes more valuable then the shares is when someone turns on the fan. I hope this helps.

have Krugerrand and some maple leafs. held onto them too long. I'm now waiting for it to get back above 1400 bucks to get back to even steven.

precious metals will always have value. but when the shit really hits the fan... better have some weapons. Guns will hold their value..

If you're buying physical gold to invest in you're going to get killed on the fees and the spread. Now if you're a paranoid prepper type, go for it. Just buy the stock if you want to buy gold. Holding a meaningful amount of your net worth in gold for the long term is dumb. It's good for speculating, but in the long term gold is the worst asset you can own.

You have $130,000 in actual gold? I hope you bought it 20 years ago, otherwise you are an idiot and lost money. If you put that in the market 8 years ago instead of following through on some end of the world prediction touted on Fox News at 2 am, you'd have closer to $350,000.

That chart doesn't even show the nasty 30% drop over the past 5 years.

That chart contains exactly zero in the way of fact, useful information or the truth.

Looks like any other ad for a stock broker or analyst.

It's actually quite clear, you're just too stupid to analyze it.
