Things are beyond brutally obvious in this entire fake news Russian conspiracy narrative.

It has been revealed that DOJ Assoc. Deputy Attorney General Bruce G Ohr was demoted because he had working relationships with Russian "dossier" author Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS, and did not reveal his October 2016 contacts with current officials.

The ongoing saga gets more sketchy as it is revealed Bruce G Ohr’s wife, Nellie H. Ohr, actually worked for Fusion GPS and likely helped guide/script the "Russian Dossier".

In October 2016, the month where a FISA Judge granted the warrant for wiretapping and surveillance, the FBI (via Agent Peter Strzok), and DOJ (via Deputy AG Bruce Ohr), were both in contact with Russian Dossier author Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS.

Nellie H. Ohr was working for Fusion GPS with expertise in Russian affairs at the time.

October 2016 is EXACTLY when The Obama administration submited a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. As Andrew McCarthy pointed out months ago: “No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.”

Are you seeing how the dots connect?

June/July 2016 a FISA request is denied. This is simultaneous to FBI agent Peter Strzok's initial contact with Christopher Steele and the preliminary draft of the dossier.

October 2016 a FISA request approved. This is simultaneous to agent Strzok and Assoc. Deputy AG Bruce G Ohr being in contact with Christopher Steele and the full dossier.

It would be EXPLOSIVE if it turned out the October 2016 FISA warrant was gained by deception, misleading/manipulated information, or fraud as a result of the Russian Dossier; and exponentially more explosive if the dossier was -in part- organized by the wife of an investigative member of the DOJ who was applying for the FISA warrant; the same warrant that led to the wiretapping and surveillance of the Trump campaign and General Flynn, and was authorized by FISA Court Judge Contreras – who was, until recently, the judge in Flynn’s case.

Don't think for a minute that those Deep State Spooks, James Clapper, John Brennan and Jim Comey were not in on this. They knew. Why do you think they were all so desperate to take down Trump quickly? Shocked that Hillary was POTUS and cover their criminal activity.

Criminals all. Just got to shake my head that smart people in the media didn't see through this. I did from day 1.

You just can't even make this stuff up:

Yet another key member of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe appears to have deep ties to the Democratic Party.

Aaron Zebley served previously as Mueller’s chief of staff at the FBI and as a senior counselor in the National Security Division at the Department of Justice. He also served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the National Security and Terrorism Unit in Alexandria, Virginia.

He is often referred to in the media as Mueller's "right-hand man."

Also, in 2015 when he was a lawyer, he represented Justin Cooper, the IT staffer who personally set up Hillary Clinton's unsecure server in her Chappaqua home, Fox News' Tucker Carlson revealed on his show Thursday.

Cooper, it so happens, is also the aide who destroyed Clinton's old BlackBerries with a hammer.

There is a growing belief among some congressional investigators that the Russians who provided information to Steele were using Steele to disrupt the American election as much as the Russians who distributed hacked Democratic Party emails. In some investigators' views, they are the two sides of the Trump-Russia project, both aimed at sowing chaos and discord in the American political system.

Investigators who favor this theory ask a sensible question: Is it likely that all the Russians involved in the attempt to influence the 2016 election were lying, scheming, Kremlin-linked, Putin-backed enemies of America – except the Russians who talked to Christopher Steele?

April 2016:
•Mary Jacoby, wife of Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson, visits the White House.
•The Clinton Campaign and DNC then hire Fusion GPS to conduct ‘Opposition Research’, with a Russian emphasis.
•Fusion GPS then hires Nellie Ohr who specializes in Russian-centric counterintelligence.
•Nellie Ohr then contacts MI6 agent Christopher Steele to write a Russian Dossier.

May 2016: Nellie Ohr’s husband inside the DOJ, Bruce Ohr, is then working with FBI counterintelligence lead Agent Peter Strzok.

June 2016: Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr and DOJ Attorney Lisa Page apply for the first FISA warrant.

The Collusion Collapse just keeps getting better and better:

In one exchange, FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and bureau lawyer Lisa Page engaged in a series of texts shortly before Election Day 2016 suggesting they knew in advance about an article in The Wall Street Journal and would need to feign stumbling onto the story so it could be shared with colleagues.

Mostly though these text exchanges show that these FBI agents were partisan hacks not serious FBI agents. They were more interested in furthering the Democrats partisan agenda than anything else.

It doesn't matter what you think about Trump, there is some seriously criminal acts going on from people who are supposed to have our trust.

I don't expect the CIA or FBI to be squeaky clean, but it is disheartening when they are involved in such shady political chicanery.

Thanks for posting.

Spying on the Commander and Chief of the USA Military is one reason why every illegal alien in DMV should be deported to NYC or LA, and every communist should be deported or even charged with spying*

It's for a communist to use "liberalism" and money in the USA to get elected, slime into DC, and spy on the USA.

spying on the military comes with a death penalty

In the year since BuzzFeed published the salacious dossier, we’ve discovered it was

a work product of the Clinton campaign,

commissioned by an oppo-research firm (Fusion),

compiled by a British ex-spook on the basis of anonymous sources,

and rolled out to the media in the runup to the election.

Oh, and it appears to continue to be almost entirely false.

When the best you’ve got is that a campaign orbiter made a public trip to Russia, you haven’t got much.

We do not know how many FISA-702 violations took place prior to NSA Mike Rogers initiating the full FISA-702 review in April 2016. Nor do we know who the insider FBI individuals were; or what results were passed on; or what was done with the results.

However, given the nature of what was taking place at the time (March, April, May, 2016) it appears likely this was part of the DOJ/FBI/Fusion-GPS collision to gather information on the candidacy of Donald Trump.

CTH received a tip that Fusion GPS (either ‘individuals’ or the company) were one of the “contractors” mentioned, additionally the “private entity” could also be inside the Fusion GPS network. Another “contractor” could possibly be CrowdStrike. From all appearances there were multiple people involved.

These ‘passed-along’ FISA-702 search results [violations] appear to be

the seeds which were fertilized by Glenn Simpson, Mary Jacobs, Nellie Ohr;

“unmasked” by Obama administration officials;

and enhanced/laundered by Christopher Steele – to end with a “Steele Dossier” returned to the FBI via Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok, DOJ Deputy Bruce Ohr, and DOJ/FBI lawyer Lisa Page, for their “insurance policy”.

The DOJ and FBI then took the dossier, full circle, back to the FISA Court to gain 702 surveillance authority and approval (media says ‘warrant’), upon the Trump Campaign (October 2016), and President-Elect (after November 8th, 2016).

A tour-de-force of the the illegal activity inside the Deep State.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/01/19/the-evidence-inside-the-house-intel-committee-four-page-fisa-memo/

As the year-long story has unfolded, there are two central components at the heart of the political corruption and weaponization of the DOJ and FBI:

First, corruption within the DOJ and FBI that included their use of unlawful use of FISA-702 exploits;

and Second, how that intelligence information was extracted, passed along to those outside government, repackaged, and reconstituted into the “Steele Dossier”. The finished, albeit sketchy, intelligence was later returned to the FBI to request lawful FISA court surveillance authority. It is a circle of “intelligence laundering”.

The FISA ‘warrant’ request, against Carter Page, was made October 21st, 2016, under Title I of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Meaning the surveillance application was specifically stating, to the court, the U.S. individual was likely an actual agent of a foreign government, ie. “a spy.”

The DOJ (National Security Division) and the FBI (Counterintelligence Division) were not asking to review ancillary data collected on U.S. Person Carter Page as an outcome of surveillance on a foreign person, or foreign agent; that would be Title 7 (FISA-702).

In action outlined within the HPSCI memo, the DOJ and FBI were specifically telling the FISA court they had evidence that U.S. Person Carter Page was working as an agent of a foreign government. He was their target, and therefore requesting direct FISA Title 1 surveillance of that target on October 21st, 2016.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/02/inside-the-hpsci-memo-a-key-distinction-being-conflated-title-i-vs-title-vii/#more-145380

Bottom line is the FBI flat out lied to the FISA court in order to spy on a US citizen for political purposes. We know this because the Page has not been charged with anything and Mueller hasn't charged him with anything. Meaning they had no real evidence back in 2016.

That is a stunning aspect. Nellie Ohr was hired by Fusion GPS in/around the end of April, beginning of May, 2016. According to the memo, while employed by the Clinton Campaign (via Fusion) to do opposition research on Donald Trump, Nellie Ohr’s findings were delivered directly to the FBI by her husband Bruce Ohr.

Mrs. Nellie Ohr’s findings were not only delivered to the FBI (likely to Peter Strzok) by her husband, DOJ Offical Bruce Ohr, but her findings were used in the FISA Court application and never revealed to the FISA Court.

As such, the Hillary Clinton campaign was funneling opposition research to the FBI through contracted agents of the campaign (Fusion) and their employees (Nellie Ohr).

The FBI then used the Clinton Opposition Research to supplement their ongoing FISA surveillance of Donald Trump campaign officials.

We suspected that was what was happening. We outlined the strong likelihood that was happening. However, yeah, that’s a big deal to see confirmed.

At this point, I believe that Trump and his campaign was never surveilled. However, they did surveil people in Trump's campaign. This requires careful legal parsing like what is "is" and what is "sex".

What did Obama know and when did he know it?

And to the point, when precisely was this human source operating? Because if it was prior to that infamous Papadopoulos tip, then the FBI isn’t being straight. It would mean the bureau was spying on the Trump campaign prior to that moment. And that in turn would mean that the FBI had been spurred to act on the basis of something other than a junior campaign aide’s loose lips.

Big story here. Finally breaking. Main thing to note is that it appears the FBI was running a sting operation. Not an investigation. That's the real reason they are trying to hide this.

The FBI formally opened its counterintelligence investigation into Russia’s efforts to influence the 2016 campaign on July 31, 2016, spurred by a report from Australian officials that Papadopoulos boasted to an Australian diplomat of knowing that Russia had damaging material about Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The professor’s interactions with Trump advisers began a few weeks before the opening of the investigation, when Page met the professor at the British symposium.

Would lead one to believe that the Obama administration and the FBI are actually not being truthful about when and how the investigation started.

But it is backfiring. They started by telling the story of Alexander Downer, an Australian diplomat, as having remembered a bar conversation with George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign. But how did the FBI know they should talk to him? That’s left out of their narrative. Downer’s signature appears on a $25 million contribution to the Clinton Foundation. You don’t need much imagination to figure that he was close with Clinton Foundation operatives who relayed information to the State Department, which then called the FBI to complete the loop. This wasn’t intelligence. It was likely opposition research from the start.

More spying on an enemy political campaign. What a pile of stinking violation of law.

British and other European intelligence agencies intercepted communications between associates of Donald Trump and Russian officials and other Russian individuals during the campaign and passed on those communications to their US counterparts, US congressional and law enforcement and US and European intelligence sources tell CNN.

There are at least 2 possible scenarios:

#1 In 2016, before anybody thought Donald Trump would win, the FBI correctly anticipated the Trump campaign would be uniquely targeted by Russia & devoted extraordinary efforts to investigating it including placing at least one spy/informant close to Trump campaign & wiretapping or surveilling at least seven Trump associates— all while President Obama denied such election interference was possible— and yet in the end the FBI was still incompetent at preventing the Russian interference they'd investigated all year, and then found no grounds to open an investigation into Donald Trump until after he fired FBI Director Comey.

Or #2 The govt spied on Trump for political purposes.

Mifsud’s worldview, along with his array of European and American contacts, and the lack of response by those high-level figures to the spy charge, have led Roh to conclude that if Mifsud is working for any intelligence agency, it was Western rather than Russian. “I call him an asset, a person who cooperates in an operation, but is not a member of the team.”

If Mifsud was a Western intelligence asset, as Roh and Pastor argue, it’s still unclear what his role may have been in the Papadopoulos case. Congressional investigators on the Republican side speculate that Mifsud may have been part of a sting operation designed to open an FBI investigation on the Trump campaign.

We need to know if Mifsud was on the CIA or Deep State payroll.

The interpretation may be fake but the actual facts appear to be authentic. I.e. Downer did arrange for a $25 million donation to the Clinton Foundation. And he did say he asked for the meeting with Papadapolous. I don't think that is in dispute.

Many people have noted the bizarre number of former Obama Administration DOJ, FBI and Intelligence Community officials who have gone to work within the U.S. media apparatus in order to protect their interests.

Former CIA Director John Brennan now working for NBC; former DNI James Clapper now working for CNN; former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker now working for Lawfare blog; former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Josh Campbell now working for CNN; former Obama adviser Ben Rhodes now working for MSNBC…. the list goes on. All motives transparently political.

All of these pre-positioned forces are defensive in nature. All of their collective narrative constructs stem from a self-preservation instinct. The U.S. media has imploded onto itself and devolved into an Kafkaesque assembly of political narrative engineers churning out fake news 24/7.

What we are now witnessing is something far beyond Pravda and Baghdad Bob. What we now see is an even more severe distortion of media; an alternate reality created as if the Stasi and Tokyo Rose joined forces to take control of U.S. broadcasts.

If the head of the KGB was an analyst for Russia Today, people would laugh. The New York Times would continue pointing at the example as a reason never to believe the stories. Yet, identically, former CIA Director John Brennan is on TV daily and almost no-one gives it a second thought.

Damning damning damning information. 100% clear evidence the FBI was politicizing their spying on the Trump campaign. Partisan hackery at the FBI. What a damn shame. Shocking damn shame.

At a minimum, the letter provides us a pretext to interview,” Strzok wrote to Lisa Page on Sept. 26, 2016.

Within weeks, that “pretext” — often a synonym for an excuse — had been upsized to a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court warrant, giving the FBI the ability to use some of its most awesome powers to monitor Carter Page and his activities.

...

“At a minimum, that keeps the hurry the F up pressure on him,” Strzok emailed Lisa Page on Oct. 14, 2016, less than four weeks before Election Day.

Four days later the same team was emailing about rushing to get approval for another FISA warrant for another Russia-related investigation code-named “Dragon.”

“Still an expedite?” one of the emails beckoned, as the FBI tried to meet the requirements of a process known as a Woods review before a FISA warrant can be approved by the courts.

“Any idea what time he can have it woods-ed by?” Strzok asked Lisa Page. “I know it’s not going to matter because DOJ is going to take the time DOJ wants to take. I just don’t want this waiting on us at all.”

...

“That’s what Bill said,” Strzok wrote back, apparently referring to then-FBI chief of counterintelligence William Priestap. “I suggested we need to exchange our entire lists as we each have potential derogatory CI info the other doesn’t.” CI is short for confidential informants.

It’s an extraordinary exchange, if for no other reason than this: The very day after Trump wins the presidency, some top FBI officials are involved in the sort of gum-shoeing normally reserved for field agents, and their goal is to find derogatory information about someone who had worked for the president-elect.

Amazing to watch. The Deep State had to admit yesterday that they got the "materials" that started the illegal and corrupt anti-Trump spying operation from a Clinton campaign vendor that was conducting opposition research on Trump.

Through the oversight process, Americans learned that the infamous “dossier” that laid out a case of collusion was secretly bought and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. This dossier was used to secure wiretaps against Trump associates (other surveillance methods, including human informants, were also used).

The most significant development in this whole spying scandal since it was admitted to by the New York Times:

CLAPPER: "If it weren't for President Obama, we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably, special counsel Mueller's investigation. President Obama is responsible for that, and it was he who tasked us to do that.."

OK, in an unprecedented move, the Department of Justice has released 412 pages of top-secret documents related to surveillance conducted against former Trump advisor Carter Page.

The applications show that in fact there was no actual evidence of collusion with Russia. In fact, the infamous "dossier" is the main point of evidence used to obtain the warrants.

Shocking. Absolutely shocking the level of mendacity and incompetence with our intelligence agencies.

The release of a redacted FISA warrant application exposes the fact that the spying on Carter Page, a figure associated with the Trump campaign, relied on no sources other than Democrats and media allies.

The FISA application relies heavily on news stories. Beyond the Yahoo News article, it cites allegations made in articles by the Washington Post and Politico. No effort is made to verify any of these allegations in media outlets famously hostile to Republicans in general and to Trump specifically. Instead the FISA application by the government bizarrely repeats claims about government investigations made in the media as the basis for launching a government investigation.

If there was any doubt the "Trump Tower meeting" was a sting operation run by the FBI and DOJ - take note: Transcripts released by the Senate Judiciary Committee say that Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Fusion GPS, had dinner with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya both the day before and the day after she met with Donald Trump, Jr. at Trump Tower on June 9, 2016.

Ask yourself this - what are the chances that the person that was coordinating the production of the "dossier" just happened to meet with Veselnitskaya before and after the Trump Tower meeting. Consider also that AG Lynch had to force the State Department to issue a visa to allow Veselnitskaya into the US as an immigration judge had denied her request for a visa 3 times.

I mean, an middle schooler hides their tracks better than this. But the media blindly pretends nothing is amiss.

The NY Times admits there was DOJ/Fusion GPS/Steele Russian collusion as they try to play down this monster scandal.

The attempt to flip Mr. Deripaska was part of a broader, clandestine American effort to gauge the possibility of gaining cooperation from roughly a half-dozen of Russia’s richest men, nearly all of whom, like Mr. Deripaska, depend on President Vladimir V. Putin to maintain their wealth, the officials said.

Two of the players in the effort were Bruce G. Ohr, the Justice Department official who has recently become a target of attacks by Mr. Trump, and Christopher Steele, the former British spy who compiled a dossier of purported links between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The systematic effort to win the cooperation of the oligarchs, which has not previously been revealed, does not appear to have scored any successes. And in Mr. Deripaska’s case, he told the American investigators that he disagreed with their theories about Russian organized crime and Kremlin collusion in the campaign, a person familiar with the exchanges said. The person added that Mr. Deripaska even notified the Kremlin about the American efforts to cultivate him.

In September 2016, the FBI used an informant in an attempt to ensnare Papadopoulos and establish collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia’s hacking of the DNC emails. Then in January 2017, after Papadopoulos confirmed Mifsud was the source of his claim that the Russians had “dirt” on Hillary, and had agreed to cooperate and contact Mifsud, and after the FBI “located” Mifsud in D.C., the FBI didn’t use Papadopoulos to ensnare the supposed Russian-agent whose purported foreknowledge of the hack justified the launch of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

The Deep State desperation to oust Trump has reached new crisis levels. Obviously, they are coordinating the timing of the current NY Times OP Ed to coincide with the Woodward book.

This tells me that they are not entirely confident about the Dems retaking the House. If the GOP holds the House and Senate there likely would be no impeachment effort and the investigations into the Obama DOJ and the Deep State criminal conspiracy against Trump will continue. In fact, after the elections Sessions and Rosenstein will likely be ousted and replaced by folks eager to defend Trump and prosecute the DOJ and Deep State criminals.

So one can understand why the hysteria about Trump and impeachment continues to be pushed to new levels of derangement every day.

"I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go," Strzok texted Page on April 10, 2017...

This is just freaking unbelievable. While Trump is POTUS, the FBI and the Department of Justice are coordinating leaks to the Washington Post in an attempt to keep the Russia Conspiracy in the news. This same criminal - Strzok - was then put on the Mueller team to help head up the "Russia Investigation."

The question that needs to be answered is: WHO AT THE DOJ (working for Trump) was Page coordinating this with?

This woman openly admits, on live-television, that she actively encouraged all her Democrat colleagues to violate their security oaths, by copying, and widely disseminating intelligence documents, then proceeded to 'leak' the contents of those documents in an effort to support an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory only seen through partisan optics, because she feared the information would disappear, and wouldn't be used to delegitimize an incoming president?

She feared the collection of such information, and the methods of collection, or identity of sources, might fall under unwanted scrutiny which would eliminate access by her, and her colleagues, to future intel from those sources.

“It’s a reflection of us still not knowing,” Page told Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas) when questioned about texts she and Strzok exchanged in May 2017 as Robert Mueller was being named a special prosecutor to take over the Russia investigation.

With that statement, Page acknowledged a momentous fact: After nine months of using some of the most awesome surveillance powers afforded to U.S. intelligence, the FBI still had not made a case connecting Trump or his campaign to Russia’s election meddling.

Page opined further, acknowledging “it still existed in the scope of possibility that there would be literally nothing” to connect Trump and Russia, no matter what Mueller or the FBI did.

“As far as May of 2017, we still couldn’t answer the question,” she said at another point.

It might take a few seconds for the enormity of Page’s statements to sink in. After all, she isn’t just any FBI lawyer. She was a lead on the Russia case when it started in summer 2016, and she helped it transition to Mueller through summer 2017.

Congressional investigators have confirmed that a top FBI official met with Democratic Party lawyers to talk about allegations of Donald Trump-Russia collusion weeks before the 2016 election, and before the bureau secured a search warrant targeting Trump’s campaign.

Former FBI general counsel James Baker met during the 2016 season with at least one attorney from Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee’s private law firm.

That’s the firm used by the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign to secretly pay research firm Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence operative, to compile a dossier of uncorroborated raw intelligence alleging Trump and Moscow were colluding to hijack the presidential election.

...

“This is a bombshell that unequivocally shows the real collusion was between the FBI and Donald Trump’s opposition — the DNC, Hillary and a Trump-hating British intel officer — to hijack the election, rather than some conspiracy between Putin and Trump,” a knowledgeable source told me.

Here is the investigatory evidence the FBI presented to the FISA court. Just cutting through all the crap and gobbledygook. In a nutshell, the FBI leaked their unfounded speculations (from the Steele Dossier) to the media and then when they applied for the FISA warrant they sourced the media stories as the evidence. Stories they (or the DNC/Fusion GPS) made up. Astounding.

BTW, what reason did the FBI have to believe Page was collaborating and conspiring with the Russian Government? Huh? Not only has their investigation found nothing - he's not been charged or accused of ANYTHING by Mueller. Could it be they just made it up? We can spy on US citizens because we "believe" they are committing a crime? But we don't need evidence? What the hell?

Well, I guess the witch hunt is over. Absolutely no one in the media is reporting the most significant thing Andy McCabe has said in the last week:

ANDERSON COOPER: Are there other things that haven’t been made public at this point that contributed to the opening of the investigation into the President?

ANDREW MCCABE: I’m not so sure there are things that haven’t been made public…

So there you have it. It was all based on the Steeler Dossier which was not an intelligence report but a political opposition research document.

So buckle up Trump haters. There's no easy road to getting rid of him. It's going to be an uphill battle. Van Jones had it right at the start - it's a NOTHING-BURGER.

It's going to be a political dogfight for sure now. Everyone in the know is saying all the evidence of collusion is already public information - meaning they don't have any evidence. It's going to be a daily brawl to control the daily spin now. Steven Bannon has it right. Buckle up. It's going to be a meat grinder and a civil war.

Hopefully, there will now also be a real investigation into the corruption of Deep State.

STICK A FORK IN THE DOSSIER:

Cohen: "I've never been to Prague. I've never been to the Czech Republic."

Statement not contested by Mueller or Congress.

Final nails in the coffins

Nail 1 — The Steele Dossier: Cohen said, unequivocally, that he’s never visited Prague. That’s contrary to the now-discredited opposition research “dossier” the FBI presented to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to obtain secret wiretaps.

Nail 2 — BuzzFeed’s “bombshell”: Cohen said Trump never directed him to lie to investigators about the timing of a Trump Tower Moscow project during the 2016 campaign. That discredited the BuzzFeed “bombshell” and multiple anonymous sources that claimed Cohen had told special counsel Robert Mueller that Trump ordered Cohen to lie. Mueller also previously disputed the same report.

--------

When is there going to be any accounting for the lies the mainstream media has spread? Both of these shameless falsehoods were touted by the media (and the Deep State) endless and loudly to create many anti-Trump news cycles. And they were just not true.

I see Judge Ellis let the Mueller team know what he really thought about their prosecutorial discretion and tactics. 47 months. That's basically a slap on the wrist - not unlike the 2 weeks that Papadopoulos got.

It would seem these judges are applying "judicial nullification" to the Mueller witch hunt.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/07/politics/paul-manafort-sentencing-virginia-case-russia-investigation/index.html

The coup de grâce?

Ellis said during Thursday's hearing that Manafort is not being sentenced for anything related to interference in the 2016 election.

"He is not before the court for anything having to do with colluding with the Russian government," the judge said.

More unethical behavior. Simply outrageous:

Newly released memos written by former FBI director James Comey indicate that an early 2017 briefing for then-President-elect Donald Trump about the contents of an infamous dossier was held so it could be leaked to media outlets eager to report on the dossier’s allegations.

There are two things in the memo that are worth highlighting as relate to that blockbuster CNN story from January 10, 2017.

First, Comey claims that briefing the president-elect was the brainchild of Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

Second, With Comey claiming that Clapper wanted him to brief POTUS, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence final report on Russia has something of interest. The report, which was downplayed and panned by CNN, included a finding of interest related to discussions of the dossier with the media:

Finding #44: Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, now a CNN national security analyst, provided inconsistent testimony to the Committee about his contacts with the media, including CNN.”

http://thefederalist.com/2018/04/20/comeys-memos-indicate-dossier-briefing-of-trump-was-a-setup/

If this doesn't prove the arguments that this was all a devious plot hatched by the DEEP STATE nothing does. The director of the FBI and the director of National Intelligence conspiring to plant false stories to the media in a blatant political effort to destabilize and bring down a duly elected President. And then lie to Congress about it.

Just nine days before the FBI applied for a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil a top Trump campaign aide, bureau officials were battling with a senior Justice Department official who had "continued concerns" about the "possible bias" of a source pivotal to the application, according to internal text messages obtained by Fox News.

Yikes. They didn't disclose that to the FISA court did they?

Coming for Obama soon.

Can you guarantee to the American people, can you direct the Justice Department to say, 'Hillary Clinton will be treated -- as the evidence goes, she will not be in any way protected,'" Wallace asked.

"I can guarantee that," Obama responded. "And I can guarantee that, not because I give Attorney General Lynch a directive. That is institutionally how we have always operated. I do not talk to the Attorney General about pending investigations. I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department, or the FBI, not just in this case, but in any case.”

If there were a nefarious "Deep State," Trump's tax returns would have been leaked two years ago.

They are lying to you.

They lied to you about Obama's birthplace.
They lied to you about FBI agents wanted Comey to be fired.
They lied to you with fabricated Trump medical records.
They lied to you about the causes of the 2008 financial crises.
They lied to you about which President deregulated the airline and trucking industries.
They lied to you about Mexico paying for the wall.
They lied to you about Trump having no interest in Russia.
They lied to you about crime statistics.
They lied to you about the Trump Tower meeting with Russians.

Anyone wat to continue?

When is a special counsel going to be named?

The FBI, Justice and intelligence agencies can't investigate themselves. Corey Stewart would be a good pick. The staff needs to be Trump campaign contributors like Muellers was Hillary contributors or the system is rigged.

This is sort of a thread hijack. But no, it is not a given that the Deep State would leak Trump's tax returns. There are plenty of self-interested reasons bad actors in government might chose not to. Not the least of which is they may realize there is nothing of interest there.

The rest of your post is undocumented opinions that have little to do with this thread.
