Full auto assault holsters aren't covered under 2A but I'm fairy certain the gun control acts of 1934 & 1986 cover the possession well.

Holsters were originally for firearms, but today a holster can refer to a carrying case for items such as a flashlight, radio, electronics, etc. It's odd that Roy Rogers would elect to discontinue using the word just as it takes on wider meanings.
