The truth is Hillary Clinton compromised national security with her use of home servers. Then, she tried to cover it up.

The Inspector Generals office is independent of the administration and protected by law. Trump can't stop or effect the investigation nor would it be politically acceptable if he could and did.

It wasn't even Obama's Justice Department that launched this, I don't think it's their call. The Inspector Generals office itself was presented with information by congressional officials which lobbied it to launch an investigation.

Lobbied? Doesn't really make the IG sound "independent" now does it?

The result will be charges against Hillary. Comey has no excuse. Fry them both.

DOJ IGs are appointed by POTUS and can be removed by POTUS.

Wrong as you always are. The IGs are appointments. They serve at the will of the President and, while independent in some respects, report to the heads of the agencies. The IG may not even have a job by the end of the month.

TITLE 5 App. > INSPECTOR > § 3

§ 3. Appointment of Inspector General; supervision; removal; political activities; appointment of Assistant Inspector General for Auditing and Assistant Inspector General for Investigations

(a) There shall be at the head of each Office an Inspector General who shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, without regard to political affiliation and solely on the basis of integrity and demonstrated ability in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, law, management analysis, public administration, or investigations. Each Inspector General shall report to and be under the general supervision of the head of the establishment involved or, to the extent such authority is delegated, the officer next in rank below such head, but shall not report to, or be subject to supervision by, any other officer of such establishment. Neither the head of the establishment nor the officer next in rank below such head shall prevent or prohibit the Inspector General from initiating, carrying out, or completing any audit or investigation, or from issuing any subpoena during the course of any audit or investigation.

Why do you hate due process so much? It goes hand in hand with your hatred of America and the rights we cherish here.

I'm not sure which would be more fun to witness. I've seen videos of both, but never in-person.

It's not just Comey, but it is looking at all of the corruption that the Democrats participated in.

It is looking at:

Allegations that the FBI Deputy Director should have been recused
from participating in certain investigative matters;

- Remember, the Dep.Dir. is the wife of a prominent VA Democrat who was given a ton of cash by Clinton ally, Terry McAuliffe.

Allegations that the Department's Assistant Attorney General for
Legislative Affairs improperly disclosed non-public information to the
Clinton campaign and/or should have been recused from
participating in certain matters;

- Peter Kazdik is a Democrat appointee.

Just another witch hunt by libtards trying to avoid facing their own failures.

Libtards can never take responsibility for anything. It's always someone or something else's fault.

Don't look promising for ole Hillary, the FBI placed on the "back burner" many things that should have and did warrant a penalty, either heavy fine, imprisonment or both. The IG won't be as forgiving and will approach this like a "crusade", maybe to impress the new administration , who knows? After this is done I doubt if Hillary could run for dog catcher or rat inspector in NYC, never mind Mayor.
