Re: How CNN and Fake news coming form White House works. Pay Attention!

(1) Pretty sure we know who penned the report, and apparently we have a good understanding of who funded it as well.
(2) There have been several articles written on who had it and when. Media has been sitting on it for awhile, McCain handed to the FBI at one point, etc.
(3) We all should have seen it by now, it was publicly available days ago.
(4) Only thing CNN has really been focused on the last few days is defending what it did report on, which was Trump and Obama were briefed on the unverified report. Trump said that never happened, but everyone else (FBI, Biden, etc) said it did happen.
(5) Not sure how Twitter rants of baseless claims, renewed interest in Trump's tax returns, and a questionable game of connect the dots with Russia is "winning".
(6) The "author is a democrat operative who works for Planned Parenthood" is not the only fact and is worded incorrectly. The company
(Fusion GPS) was hired initially by a wealthy GOP donor, which then Fusion GPS outsourced it to the MI6 agent (Christopher Steele) to research. Eventually the GOP donor stopped funding at some point, then a democratic group continued to fund the research. The only tie with Planned Parenthood was that they used Fusion GPS to discredit that video of them selling baby parts, which they did a fair good job of uncovering the truth. That does not mean the Trump report is accurate though.
(7) Unverified accusations are neither true or false, they are just unverified. Once they are verified either true or false, then you can make claims of fake news if their are continuing to be reported once verified false. But as of right now, there is no fake news. There is a 23 page report (true) that contains unverified accusations (true). Everything else is not relevant until the report is validated.
On a side note, after reading the 23 page report, I "feel" most of it is crap, strung together theories, and mostly unverifiable. Therefore, if unverifiable, must be deemed untrue. However, there were a few things that warrant a bit more scrutiny. And I only say that because of Trumps actions (current and prior business dealings) and the fact the two loudest people (Trump and the Russians) are the only one's screaming it's false. It stinks of that all too familiar "Nah baby, you don't understand, it's not like that". And honestly, I would prefer they verify as much as possible so we can put it to bed and move on. However, if 1 or 2 of those things pop up as verified true initially, we're in for one hell of a ride.
