Bored at Work-

I love your work. I just hope you aren't supposed to be watching some security monitor or life-supporting equipment while you are doing this.

Missing a few lines here and there, and needs to be expanded to include other topics. But on the political side, about 60% accurate.

Judging by his proficiency in creating these flowcharts, there's a chance that his boss might be wondering why he hasn't completed a programming project or a proposal yet.

Then again, also judging by his proficiency, he may be completing his projects early and is smart enough to wait to hand them over so his boss doesn't start making more realistic deadlines.

The function of conservatives is not to meet every liberal program or scheme with a denunciation or a destructive counterscheme, but rather to weigh its advantages and defects, supporting the first and challenging the second. A declaration of ideological warfare against liberalism is by its nature profoundly unconservative. It meets perceived radicalism with a counterradicalism of its own.

shows what you know, application development always runs past it's deadline.

Well, in Web Development, we always pad our time estimates.

For many reasons.

First, Advertising/Marketing and Editorial will always bring changes to the original specifications.

Second, if you tell them it only takes about 2 days to create the functionality of a website, they start to question why they are paying you so much.

Why do you think sites owned by large corporations take six months to be developed, and cost hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars? Two reasons: six months is long enough to get into application development levels of changing specifications, and the longer it takes, the more money everyone makes.

The collateral benefit is that you say it will take 2 weeks to build a site, and work slowly and methodically, or finish it overnight and have 2 weeks to goof off at work and make little tweaks to the site here and there that makes your work look really awesome and impresses everyone.
