While I doubt that he works for google, I would not be surprised if a very large majority of their staff smokes pot either regularly, recreationally or at least on occassion.
One of the benefits of working at Google is that they have something like 7 restuarants on their main campus, and the food is free. They also keep snacks and beverages within so many steps from everyone's desk. They will also do your laundry for you.
And have you ever seen a photo of Larry and Sergei? If I started a new job and one of them was a coworker, I would eventually ask them if they knew where I could buy some weed.
