Scientology: A Toy Navy?

As you can see here, Scientology, for whatever reason, adopts many naval trappings. This is particularly unusual in light of the fact that its founder, L. Ron Hubbard, had a less than distinguished naval career-far less distinguished, it is to be noted, than the "war hero" image Scientology tries to create for him.

Why all the infatuation on this board with that group? Everyone is entitled to act out their wildest inner fantasies, after all, as long as they don't harm another person or their property in the acting out.

Thisstuff is so soooooo sixties though. I would much rather join the Navy than go around pretending to be the Navy in a seperate duplicated time line.

Maybe he has a Napoleonic syndrome. Napoleon was driven to conquer to prove himself because he was so small, 5'6" tall. Small fry to compete successfully tend to be most nasty and vicious to convince others or their power and invincibility.

I think it's great. Keep it up whoever you are. Scientology is a corrupt organization that preys on they weaknesses of low self esteem individuals.
