The idea was to get a bunch of Hillary Clinton supporters to wear pantsuits to the polls on Nov. 8. But “Pantsuit Nation” has become something more than that. In just 17 days of existence, the “secret” Facebook group has become the sudden online home of passionate Clinton enthusiasts. Yes, they exist, and so far, there are more than 1.9 million people in the invite-only space.

“There’s an awakening that’s happening with each new member — ‘Wow! I’m not alone,’ ” said Libby Chamberlain, the 33-year-old founder of the Facebook group, who lives in Maine with her husband and two small children. “There’s this understanding that something special is happening.”

Had Jim Jones survived, I'm certain that he would have a Facebook page with his supporters telling each other how misunderstood he was, and how everyone who had negative things to say about him was mislead, misguided, and mistaken. Hillary will always have those who follow her to the ends of the earth with blind devotion. Their choice. But over 60 million voters choose not to. At least she was stopped before the kool aid party started, and not after we were forced to participate. And yet Pelosi marches on. I'll say one thing. The democrats are persistent. Bottoms up.

Wear what you want, but I can tell you that no women who wears a pantsuit to a job interview ever got a callback from our company, and we are considered fairly progressive.

You can extrapolate that to just one more reason why more professional women did not support Hillary.

I think they were all excited about nothing because I do not remember seeing a single woman in a pantsuit at the polls or any other woman wearing a pantsuit recently for that very matter.

They should have made this group public and got some more publicity. I voted for Trump but if I knew about Pantsuit Nation, it definitely would have changed my vote!
