Computer Scientists Say Trump May Have Hacked Voting Machines, Demand Recount

Voting-rights attorney John Bonifaz and J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, believes they’ve found persuasive evidence that results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may have been manipulated or hacked.

Last Thursday, the activists held a conference call with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and campaign general counsel Marc Elias to make their case, according to a source briefed on the call. The academics presented findings showing that in Wisconsin, Clinton received 7 percent fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic-voting machines compared with counties that used optical scanners and paper ballots. Based on this statistical analysis, Clinton may have been denied as many as 30,000 votes; she lost Wisconsin by 27,000. While it’s important to note the group has not found proof of hacking or manipulation, they are arguing to the campaign that the suspicious pattern merits an independent review

There's nothing they can do about it now.
There has to be compelling evidence to have a recount in PA.
Trump won PA by about 70,000 votes.
The US government has already said there is no evidence of hacking.
This is all based on statistical analysis, which is subjective.
Without PA, there is no Madam President.
Game Over.

Numerous WH officials on the air over the weekend distancing themselves from the sound bite...saying there was no evidence any hacking happened or anything was amiss.

Just standard fake news getting some legs with those that are still butthurt.

I don't know what Left Wing Website the OP got that article from, but those voting machines are not connected to the internet. To do what the OP suggests, would mean tampering with every machine in those States. To produce 70,000 more votes in Michigan alone when it would have been easier to tamper with fewer machines in States where Trump only won by a few votes?

More Left-Wing Conspiracy Theories. Next they will be telling their retarded followers the Russians did it.

Trump told me 3 million votes are illegal - we need to expose this with a massive all-state recount immediately.

Good news friend, the fix for this is coming. A federal law requiring nationwide voter ID will be passed and signed within a year. The new Trumpian SCOTUS justice will be the deciding vote to uphold it before the next presidential election in 2020. Rejoice and be happy, for President Trump is on the side of all law abiding US citizens.

Did they correct for distribution of the voting machines or did they simply find a correlation between machine types and county populations.

persuasive evidence - what a joke

anecdotal evidence

obviously the areas that "upgraded" are wealthier and sick of obama

they call that computer science? more like dipshitology

the release of broadcom at 3 Ghz, all in one chip for thumb electronics: that's computer science. and it doesn't run on dipshitology

voting machines are as bad as gambling machines

they can be rigged to bias democrats at the factory (the chips, in silicon)

they can be tampered with in storage in some state, or in the county

they can be tampered with on-site

it's possible a chinese "device" could alter their behavior if in proximity - which would not be an illegal device to make or to carry in china

what is less known is that chips can have bugs that aren't plain on the diagrams, which is why i have having any foreign chips in my computer. a mere metered pulse from the internet could active a bug - and boom they are watching you type in your credit card number and laughing. technology to find these things barely exists and in the end has never been use to trace down consumer bugs (ie, anything non-essential, voting machines, fax, pc, phones).

* voting machines are high priced

* news lies about who is winning BEFORE and DURING has for a few elections

* there are more points of attack

- there is not a single advantage to them, except to make cheating at the county level more difficult than at the corporate level. cheatin gthe machines is illegal in USA - but completely legal in anti-USA countries - who likely have the plans before the gov sees them

all systems of voting can be cheated

that's why both parties should call monitors to watch (which is nullified by machines)

that's why upon recount, if some voting machine is shown to be rigged by the factory - they will be taken out back and all shot
