What Will this Decade be Remembered For?
Posted by: eesh ()
Date: September 11, 2009 12:10PM

Bush election and Florida recount

9/11

War on Terror

Iraq Invasion

Gitmo and extraordinary extradition

Alienation of friendly nations

Recession

Price of fuel rising dramatically

Worse unemployment in 50 years

China becoming a potential superpower

Mexican Drug War

The only positive event (to some) was the Obama election.

How will 2000 to 2010 be remembered?

2000 to 2009 is a decade. This decade ends on Dec 31st this year.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
The function of conservatives is not to meet every liberal program or scheme with a denunciation or a destructive counterscheme, but rather to weigh its advantages and defects, supporting the first and challenging the second. A declaration of ideological warfare against liberalism is by its nature profoundly unconservative. It meets perceived radicalism with a counterradicalism of its own.

Fools never reign.

They just make a lot of noise, and eventually everyone learns to ignore all of their noise. Or they learn to laugh at them.

I suppose there is this guy that is the king of the short bus, and he's certain he is the master of all who ride the short bus.

But that is no different fron the guy who is the Manager of a McDonald's.

He's the king, he is the ruler over all of the McDonald's employees.

But he still only makes about $27,000 a year, and he's still a loser with no degree and who stinks of processed food when he gets home.

I just got word that our beloved member Inka is incarcerated for Sodomy and what the judge would call fisting. I just visited him at the ADC and sends his best wishes to FFU. He said he has a good chance of beating the case.

ecstacy & wastefulness.

The people of New New York in 3000CE will refer to us as the "Stupid Ages."

Think about it; has there ever been a society that uses up resources like we do..

Ive started re-using papertowals and tin foil.
