Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
The Self-Important People of Fairfax
Posted by: § ()

Well, we all know about Facebook and MySpace and can pretty much agree that while the original intent of these sites are for networking and friend-finding purposes, there are a few instances where sometimes the authors of these pages go a tad overboard and take themselves a little too seriously.

Even worse is when a person may create their own webpage complete with a bio and pictures, not for business or professional purposes, but to show the world that they are a grade-A, certifiable tube of douchepaste.

In the course of your internet journeys, if you come across these types of webpages about our overly, self-important locals, please do share with us as I'm sure there are quite a few out there.

Ladies and Gentlemen, for the first installment of the series, I present to you one such individual. Enjoy.

LOL. I love that. Hope you don't mind if I borrow it frequently.

A truly apt description of our boy Brock-ster.

i dont think "networking" was ever an intent, it's merely for fun. what i want to know is why do you browse those sites? they are very teen oriented sites.

Are they? I wouldn't know. I don't have a personal site and rarely browse them, but I do have friends and colleagues that swear by it and say it's a good way to reconnect. Perhaps it's good for the lonely set who want to live in the past and share a virtual friendship over a virtual coffee.

To me, it's fake. But, entertaining on occasion to laugh at the lengths people will go to market themselves to people they'll likely never see again.

Not sure if he is Fairfax, but he is definitely NOVA. I would consider anyone that has run a site asking chicks to "date Jesus" for nine years to be up there in douchiness.

http://www.datejesus.com/

§, he says he prefers chicks, but you might be able to convince him to take a bath with you. Good Luck!

Maybe someone can find the blog on the lawyer that can't name what field of law he works in (for security purposes he only says he is a "fixer.")
I'm sure the blog is covered in Audi symbols and pictures of him scoring chicks.

This is a close resemblance of that lawyer:

Wasn't that picture from the annual Fairfax Underground Inkahootz lookalike contest and banquet, at the Sheraton in Tysons?

Every time I visit the Hot Chicks with Douchebags site, I think of the Inkahootz photo with the skanks resting on his lap.

Why is it these bulked out dudes are always single at 35 and spend all of their money on a car while living in a crappy neighborhood (in a house that I bet he rents with room mates). He reminds me of these guys...

I see it all the time in the older neighborhoods in Annandale and Springfield. A tiny ranch house that looks like it is about to fall apart yet there is a 7 series or S class parked in front.

I would say it was fake if the guy was a comedian. I think this may be the real deal.

Never underestimate the depths stupid people will go. While this guy would appear to be a self-parody, I have known people like this (okay, not to this extreme). It wouldn't shock me if he was legitimately like this.

you don't need an account to browse facebook, not sure about myspace. you just go to the find friends link at the bottom and then you can look up who ever you want
