Can a woman be have a successful career and still find Mr. Right?

A couple of my female friends and I were commiserating over the fact that we're still single women in our late 20s and early 30s. The conversation started because of an article from The New York Times about how smart and successful women are less likely to ever get married. All of us would like to find Mr. Right and be married. But do we have to cut short our professional success, financial well-being and even try to lower our IQ to do it?

Two big issues here...

First, don't read the horrible rag NY Times.

Second, "lower your IQ"? To what? To a man's IQ?

I think I see a big part of the problem here.

I make well into 6 figures and sought out a strong, confident woman that had a successful career as well. And I found her. If you want to play the ditzbag, snowflake at home going to yoga, Target and gabbing on social media all day with the neighbor ladies - then that's the level of respect you will get from your man. That guy - will trade you in on a newer model when you get some miles on you.

If your job is too hard you don't have time and energy to closely bond to a young man. Deepest bonds are made when young. If you get past 35 go for an older divorced man. It won't be as deep but it can be great.
