Nineteen children is not something I'd want for myself but these folks are self-supporting and supposedly live debt-free .... It would be different if they were living on public assistance (like the Octo-mom in California). I guess they'll stop having babies when Mrs. Duggar reaches menopause!

Considering that most reality stars seem to implode after a couple of years on TV (see Jon & Kate), I envision some bizarre public spectacle from the cult-ish Duggar clan at some point in the not too distant future. Does anyone else get the creep factor on that show? What's up with the dad? Something tells me Michelle Duggar isn't the only Duggar getting banged by Mr. Duggar, if you know what I mean.

I have never seen the show. I will say though that looking at the pictures I wouldn't be surprised to hear about an affair outside the family. I doubt there is an issue with the kids - with that many of them it would be hard to keep anything like that quiet. But I am not holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop on this issue.

Having lived in the Bible Belt, you discover that religious people like the Duggars don't have affairs "outside the family." That's because people will talk. I wouldn't be surprised if the dad is banging some of his daughters. That is usually how it is done in these situations.

It'll be fun when the kids grow up desperate for attention to the point they crave any attention, even if its for things like lashing out or doing drugs. It'd be hard to monitor that many kids and know for sure that they are all staying out of trouble as well.

2. It must be a lot easier for her to have these babies now that her twat is more "open" to the idea

Just kidding, and I don't believe that the above is relevant to this family. I have seen a few of the shows and find the entire family to be quite level headed. It is actually quite refreshing to be able to know that a family like theirs exists these days...

do you believe everything you see on TV? they are all fucking psychotic. i cant imagine them with out a camera there.

Remember the mother in Leesburg that has like eight kids. She left a small child in a parked car and she was arrested. She thought she had all of them. The kid was OK because someone walking by the car saw the kid and called the police.

Remember the Dad that left a baby in the car because he thought another kid bought the baby in? The baby died.

There is only so much a parent can do and those duties become more and more subjugated with each child. Kids are a responcibility not a showpiece or bragging right.

Sorry but I did not, I caught a few shows while flipping through channels. I believe they may have been re-runs as no child was married in the clips I saw...

So, Ms. Duggar is 42 and has a 21 year old son, so she's been pregnant most of her adult life (how fun). Keep it in your pants Joe Bob.

Don't some of these fundamentalist types intend to have as many kids as possible to "spread God's word?" Whey do all the girls look as homely as their mother with those puritan dresses and scraggly hair? I just think it's insane to have that many kids. On GMA the other day, they interviewed the family, including the 21 year old, who's soon to be a father, and he said he hopes to "train" his child just as his parents trained (brainwashed) him...the Duggar robot army is coming for you...

Odds have it that at least one of the kids will get into something or nother and it wil be John & Kate all over again.
