LOL..deeper roots..people are afraid..and republicans thrive on fear.

People...

1. see long term un/under-employment facing them for years to come
2. see a president they are afraid of because he doesnt look like the presidents on the dollar bill..and they are constantly told doesnt have the same values as they do
3. need to blame someone for their problems..so they blame the federal government

Now is the time for leadership....now is the time for health care reform

It happens on both sides. Democrats have latched onto Global Warming as the ultimate issue they can use to fear monger folks into voting for.

No doubt that Obama's numbers are down. But Zogby is a joke. They called the election for Kerry in 2004.

Well, I just read that Obama's approval rating is somewhere around 142%.
