Since closing several full-service rest areas along VA's roadways, Kaine approved some Temporary Basic Service Rest Stops for motorists' convenience.

eesh - that's a heavy-duty ticket! Would you share details as to what it was for, i.e., speeding 20 mph over the limit? Potential jail time?
Just curious ... I have a young son whose driving concerns me.

85 mph on 95N. No jail time or suspension; this wasn't Fairfax though.

Yeah, if your body decides to get loose while you're on I-81, the odds are 50/50 that it could become a disaster. Some of those exits are far apart and even when you get off, you still have 5 or 10 minutes until you hit whatever podunk town the exit was for.

Junnes..I heard that undocumented workers are often seen at the rest stops.
